This game manages to surpass God of War 2018 in near enough every way and fortunately for us that includes the awesome details, hope you enjoy! P.S. This game is a masterpiece!
In norse mythology loki gets fucked by a horse while being transformed and gives birth to another horse, that odin then uses Or something like that lol, this could of being a mentioning of that
Actually, the abundance of flowers over Fenrir's grave at the end of the game holds a larger significance than at first observed. The growth of flowers means that Fimblewinter is truely over and the realms have begun to heal.
@@danmajid5401 that’s cause he taps into his rage like he had the entire game in gow3. The only difference is that Kratos no longer wants to keep that rage so he only uses it to help himself instead of using it for vengeance and whatnot
Another detail I found is that during Atreus mission with Thor if you bump into him he won’t budge , as opposed to other characters who get out of your way when you bump into them.
One thing I found extremely funny was right after crafting the spear, when you and Brok climb up the mountain, brok climbs on your back and says, "Oh, we are doing this BOY style."
If you spin the Blades of Chaos (mash triangle) and walk over different surfaces (ice, dirt, sand, wood, metal, stone, water) the sound of scraping the ground will change.
10:56 "I ... thought Atreus would like the horse." Awww! Also another nice detail is when you go to Atreus' room after the credits. Kratos expresses some worries about things he might not have taught his son. Quite funny.
Finally, a video that captures Ingrid VS Mjolnir. This means that the legendary weapons has a tendency to become self aware themselves, and Ingrid is the smartest so far, while there are rumors where Thor whispers to Mjolnir. Also, the scene where Thor rubs mead on Mjolnir at Kratos' hut at the beginning, thats probably Thor letting Mjolnir have a taste of the mead. Just a theory to make the scene look less weird.
He's a drunk trying to quit, so him doing that with the hammer made sense when I first saw it. Gives me the impression that the hammer is legit his only friend
Sindri mentioned that the Leviathan Axe was made up of, or atleast, powered up by 20 Frost Giants or Trolls?? I can't remember but he did said something like that back on 2018.
4:58 Edit: Fixed timestamp, was 10s off. Not sure if this can be counted as a "detail" but I'd like to add to this "Fake Tyr thing" Odin didn't know about the hidden tower and this reaction made it clear, he sounded so unsure and fake and made it seem like he was hiding something.
Another hint at Odin disguised himself as Tyr: When you rescued the fake Tyr, he'll say something like "Son of spartan". This is impossible because Tyr is imprisoned before Kratos had a child, so while he knew the legend of Ghost of Sparta (through his many realm crossing), he shouldn't have known that Atreus is the son of Kratos.
It’s amazing how much contextual dialogue there is when revisiting locations, when with different characters, while travelling across realms or just on a boat or sledge. I’ve been hearing new things even 40+ hours in
The character - Kratos, has inspired lots of people. I like him a lot so I decided to create a statue of him using cement, if you are a fan of him then I believe you will like it!
I think another fun thing the game doesn’t tell you is that every time you use a portal, your health and rage replenishes. It was really helpful for me since I played it in Give me no mercy difficulty (Spoilers) Another cool Uncharted detail I found is, you can find the gold key from Uncharted 2 as an artefact in Midgard, the place where you can find TYR postgame.
I played on Balanced but those things truly were a blessing. In the previous game the portals filled up your health but not your rage, I’m so glad this one does both. I found myself using rage a lot more because of that and its really one of the most satisfying parts of the game.
@@DNephilim True that is where you rescue him from, after rescuing him, you can find him in all realms, that is what i tried to mention, the one near midgard is where you can find the uncharted 2 artifact.

My favorite detail is just related to Kratos’ growth as a character. It’s not just “Boy” , “Dwarf” and “ head” anymore but it’s actually Atreus, son, mimir, brother, friend and actuall calling brook and sindri by name and I thought that was just beautiful and kratos actually opening his heart as predicted.
Ok “I…wanted to see the wolves again” is like one of 5 hidden kratos lines that just…hit so well comedically only if you know kratos and his reluctance for smiles and light hearted ness
I love it, is something he would do and make no comment on if he was alone or didn't care if anyone asked, also find it really cute that he could genuinely wanted to ser the cool wolfs again lmao
Another neat detail I noticed is a spoiler, but the fake tyr is a typo in the subtitles when he talks compared to the actual tyr. The fake one doesn't have the flick symbol above the y, while the real one does. Things like this turn a good game into a great one.
So y’all know how Mimir and Kratos have a conversation about teaching Atreus to woo? Mimir says that he thought him how he wished he had wooed. So I am guessing that when Atreus saw the flower he said “perfect” because he was going to put in practice what Mimir taught him only for the gesture to completely fly over Angrboda’s head.
Thor's mead-belly having jiggle physics really got me when I first saw it lol also Mjolnir and Ingrid fighting in the tavern being a hint as to Ingrid's true identity as Sumarbrandr, was a great touch
I just love the tiny little details in this game and the 2018 one, random conversations, interactions and collectibles that show how much effort went into this game. Obviously its a spectacle and quite magnificent but those little things are oh so special.

@Maxen9000 elden ring was really good don't get me wrong. I might get some slack for this but it was too big.
