I look forward to trying this tie! I'm a very beginner Tunisian crocheter but I just love the process because I cannot knit. Thank you for the video

My pleasure! I could not figure knitting out for the life of me, so Tunisian crochet is perfect! Let me know what you think :)

I would love to know how to add a point to this tie because my husband prefers a traditional tie.

You’d have to work a series of decreases after completing the length. Depending on how experienced you are, this might be quite simple: just skip the second and second-to-last vertical stitch in every row (sharp point), or every-other row (softer point). Be careful to mind the stitch sequence. The sequence will not change, lest you want the tip of the tie to look different.
      Hope that helps!

      Thank you! 😊
The average necktie is between 56-58 inches (142-147 cm). If you don’t know whether the gentlemen prefer longer ties or shorter ties, go with 57 inches (145 cm) and you’ll be good.
      Hope it helps!

I dont see the link to pdf version. I bought the hooks through the link provided. They have burs on the end and splits in the wood. I asked my hubby to file them and put a coat of varnish to make them glide better

I’ll add the link below. 🙂
I got two of the hooks like that and filed them down using the cheap nail files from the dollar store. They’ve worked great for me so far, and you can’t beat the price. Bamboo hooks are so expensive! That’s what has surprised me the most. I didn’t expect them to cost so much! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seriously? Is it really necessary to show How to make a slip knot? Or a chain? To make a tie I would think the basic are well known! Love from 🇳🇴
