    FYI for the belting (example around 11:10) you can just double click without moving your cursor once you see the starting point of the belt snap. This works 99% of the time if the space between connections is as close as possible without clipping. Will save some wrist pain if when your ever snapping belts for an hour straight.

    Fluid that is loaded from above takes priority over fluid loaded from below, so you have to use a valve to ensure that your byproducts are used. If you instead load the extra from the bottom, you don't need a valve to ensure your byproducts are used first

  • @GrayholeP
    @GrayholeP 4 месяца назад +2

    instead of doing the valve-from-the-top with still some possibility to fail - i would rather split the first refinery into two: one gets only the 80 of fresh water and the other one is 120 of only residue water. this way is 100% fail-proof and used to work without jams for 50+h in my previous playthrough

    • @Nilaus

    15:48 To make it less awful, I'd recommend adding a pump between an output and a junction. Otherwise, this setup is a lot more prone to clogging up when something goes wrong and some of the aluminum isn't consumed since water from below go in both directions, and you absolutely don't want it to go back into the output of a refinery. You may use a valve, but they reset a headlift and, from my experience, weird things happen with priority junctions when there's no headlift.

    • @sparkyails123
      @sparkyails123 4 месяца назад

    • @asureaskie
      @asureaskie 4 месяца назад

      Wet Concrete is used when you want the build to be able to stop without locking up, or if you need the concrete for the new steel beam/pipe alternates. The alternative is to sink the excess aluminum, which is what Nilaus aptly demonstrated.
