First of all, you have to have realistic expectations. If it's 0 cal, it will not taste exactly the same as the real shit. Second, some flavors are better than others, but almost all of them needs to be mixed in a recipe to taste good, they dont taste that great by themselves. For example, if you taste their chocolate syrup, you know for sure that it is not the real thing. But if you put the syrup in milk and make chocolate milk, it tastes remarkably like the real thing. I put the chocolate syrup on my plain yogurt and it dont taste good at all. Again, you of the keep expectations realistic and experiment to see what combinations works.

the chocolate peanut one mixed in a smoothie with almond milk, banana, Greek yogurt, and vanilla protein powder is pretty good.

i wish there were a better way to sample all their products. But one thing is for sure: the comment sections for Walden Farms reviews are great. They should change the brand to Polarizing Farms.
The raspberry vinegarette dressing is bomb though
People expect the lower calorie options to taste just as good as the full fat version 🤦♂️

Bro you put a spoonful of them in your mouth. Put it on a meal! I love everything I’ve ever bought from Walden farms. The maple nut syrup is 🔥. (I haven’t tried all of their products)

I bought a bottle of Walden Farms Caramel Sauce. Initially, I did not like the taste. It left a bitter after-taste of cheap sweeteners in the mouth. Later, I tried adding only a little to coffee and vanilla ice-cream and it turns out not to be so bad. Eating a spoonful of the sauce will not taste good anyway. A sauce is always meant to be added to something or the other. Looks like it will take some getting used to. I wish they made it with some high-grade sweetener like Splenda, just to get rid of the bitter after-taste. I will try the Smoky BBQ Sauce next. Their Australian website is really crap. So, I'll have to browse at Woolies.

There are those that do not like the flavors of Walden Foods however there are many of us who although we prefer to have full Cal full fat full carbohydrate foods our however is

Thanks for the review. I was just searching on Amazon for this stuff...It's not easy to get it, it would cost me double the price just for shipping to my country. I guess it's not worth the money and the hassle. A bit disappointed myself as well.

Pancake syrup is delicious! So are the BBQ sauces and ketchup. The coffee creamer is gross. But let's be realistic, it is ZERO calories. What do you expect it taste like? 😂
The pancake sryup is THE ONLY thing I really liked, and I liked the Honey mustard mayo (had a strange tang to it) was decent.....but I tried their salad dressings, puke worthy, and the French Onion dip, maybe THE most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth !! I gagged on that & did the dry heaves for about 5 minutes after eating it.....tasted like ass !
What??? I absolutely adore the caramel syrup and go through 1-2 containers a week.

The only Walden Farms product I haven't found disgusting so far is the blue cheese dressing. If you're looking for something low in calories that actually tastes good, I recommend sugar free Jell-O, 40 calories per box (4 servings). :-)
hmmmmm blue cheese dressing... I may just take your advice as I'm ordering a couple more product from them before I give up completely :P
the syrup is the shit, I have yet to find another type that I like. The salad dressings all taste like poison.
I tried the chocolate peanut spread and it is disgusting. Am still waiting for a return form for the unopened items but they haven't replied so I've opened a case with paypal. I was gutted as it sounded perfect, but was vile chemical tasting sludge 😝

OK definitely can’t compare to real maple syrup but heck in a pinch they are not that bad!
i don't think you should give up completely on the Walden farms, i know the chocolate dip, and peanut spread is rank, but the strawberry topping over ice cream is pretty damn good for zero cals and i also didn't mind just eating the marshmallow dip out of the jar, it was a bit tangy but strangely i liked it lol
+Guy B Actually I've heard the strawberry topping and pancake syrup are the go to choices and I can see them tasting good so I'ma give them another go haha. Maybe I was a little harsh

I thought the pancake syrups are pretty solid. The caramel and chocolate syrup is not bad. The rest is pure crap.
I just spend a whole bunch of money too and received about 9 products and about half all taste like vinegar and the rest are pretty good. Lol stick to Aussie/NZ products

I bought coffee creamers (original and hazelnut) and Caesar dressing. I can’t stand any of them. The smell and the taste.... I know it’s nearly 0 kcal but it’s disgusting. Don’t waste your money
