  • Learn to crochet beautiful doily from the year of 1846!
    Easy crochet project.
    My doily measures about 9.5 inches in diameter.
    Recommended crochet hook is 2 - 2.25 mm and the thread used in the tutorial is Aunt Lydia's cotton size 10, you can buy it here: amzn.to/3iwQroZ (ad)

      Thank you, Kiran! I don't have exact advice how to double its size but I would try with bigger size hook and thread, and also you could add a few rounds, repeat the ones with dc+ch. Happy crocheting!

      Thank you, Chantal! I use spray starch when I block them, it gives them really nice shape!

    Been Trying many times now, using same thread and same needle, but it keeps twisting.. ive made many doilies before without that problem

      Sorry to hear that! My thought is that you could maybe try either a bit smaller or bigger hook to change the tension.

    Love it but just cant make it its not coming out right. cant see what im doing wrong my count is right i could just scream.this is my 4 time trying wish me luck

      Hi Tina, I am sure you can do it! I would recommend using the same size thread and crochet hook as I do. Maybe that helps.

      @@handmadebyraine I am using the same size thread and hook, but my middle piece is wavy. My stitch count is correct. When I read the other comments that mentioned that they had issues with the pattern, if they are talking about the middle as well.

    Your information is not very clear and your doing it too fast. Hope the next video u slow it down at the beginning of every round.

      I am sorry to hear this, I would recommend pausing the video to give yourself time to finish the steps and rounds. I have also added the link to written pattern because some crocheters prefer to follow written instructions on their on pace.
