Just thought I would add this since most of you were young and I’m 69 and my parents and ants made a lot of doilies. They would take a doily and make a few Picot around the last row and line doilies with fabric and run a cord through the picot’s and turn them into the cutest little purses. Also for any Christmas tree they could be little goodie or gift bags hanging on the tree with A contrast lining to glow through the doily. The ideas are endless. If you run across one called a daffodil doily my mother made one of those and I’m having a nostalgia moment, and I want to make that one. It had beautiful ruffles on the outer edge.
The dreaming of spring doily is icy coloured, because it's still winter when you're dreaming of spring. Also: if you attach a hoop of some kind to the edge of a doily, they become beautiful dreamcatcher-like decor items.
i had to pause at the sun doily because i wanted to say a couple of things. first, i would like to say thank you for adding this. my great grandmother would do this, and my great aunt is still crocheting as well. i was proud to take up the hobby the way i did, and now im excited to try the projects my grandmother would work on! second, i would be ok if you skipped a video to tend to your migraine! i know too well, how debilitating those can be! usually a nap is what helps me, but please! take the time for yourself to do what you need to help yourself feel better! i hate to think of you going through pain while im enjoying your video🥺
Doilies are one of my fav things to crochet cause they're quite simple, but soooo pretty!!! I actually made that blush flower one today, turned out great. I recommend Kristine's channel very much, she has great free patterns
Hi, I was intrigued by the title of your video. I crocheted a lot of doilies various sizes. I can tell you that a simple doily can take a couple of hours to make. A more complicated one can take a couple of days to finish it. It depends on the experience of the person and the design of the doily. Thank you for sharing your work .
I made the Mable doily in black and it’s very gothy 🖤. Its a great free pattern with a video tutorial here on youtube so no matter what colors you like, I highly recommend it!

The star weave one has a hexagon shaped which is also known as a snowflake shape snowflakes do not come in eight or 12 or any other number than six in nature so I have a totally separate category of hexagon or snowflake section in my Pinterest page and collect them all the time
