Don’t forget if you’re new to crocheting like me, you can slow the video down with going into the top right corner where the three vertical dots are, and slow her magical hands down 😊
I'm mostly a beginner who recently got back into crochet. I found your tutorial recently and decided to give it a try. Boy did I overestimate my skills took me roughly a week but I managed to pick up everything by slowing down the playback speed. Finally completed my doily today and I'm very happy with it. Thank you for the pattern!
I think she is difficult to follow, but I keep stopping & starting over, because I really want to make this. I have followed others without any difficulty, but I'm having a terrible time following her instructions, which I wish were clearer, like how many for each row there should be. Its frustrating not knowing.
Beautiful!! I reduced the playback speed and used the rewind as needed so I could write down the steps. I appreciate that you repeated each step before moving on to the next row. Thank you very much!!
I made this doily as I watched the video. Thank you for sharing this pattern not only visually but verbally. I think it was very well done. And I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you.
Of all the doily patterns I’ve came across, yours is the most tempting to make one. It has been 3 years since and now am making my 3rd using your pattern.
Same here. She talks so fast I have to keep backing it up. Would be nice to have it written on the screen so you could pause and read it. She’s very hard to understand and speaks so fast it makes it even more difficult.
I’ve made this a few times and it is absolutely gorgeous- even prettier and more dramatic in person. I’ll be making another one or two for holiday gifts.
I am not a beginner but I am new to doily making. I love your doilies, but I cannot keep up so I have to pause a lot. Which is no big deal but then you cannot see some of the stitches you are showing and that’s what throws me off. I think you so beautiful work and hope maybe the next videos can be slowed down showing the stitches that you are speaking of. Thank you for sharing. I will try one more time and try not to get to frustrated. Lol 🌻🌸
Ty so much beautiful pattern, my only problem I had it's hard to follow you because it needed to be printed how many loops in each repeat row etc. But I really love the completed doily, ty again
Thank you so much for this absolutely gorgeous pattern. I have finished the project in three days (just because I'm lazy) and I was waiting for the difficult or un-understandable parts! I found none! Your video is amazing and I have no idea why are some people in the comments so criticizing and rude. Love the pattern and thanks again for a wonderful video!
This was my first doily. I stopped just short of the last 2 rows. It looks pretty in soft grey and mauve. I wish I could upload a picture. You made the process so easy! Thank you for posting this tutorial!
I'm glad I read the comments, because I am not going to waste any more time trying with this, knowing from others, that it doesn't get any clearer towards the end either, with some people not even being able to finish. That is not good teaching. Too bad, because it is a beautiful pattern. Also, it is rude not to respond to those who are having questions. Those are my thoughts.
I love this doily pattern. Thanks a million. As with out you and this video tutorial I would never have been able to make it for so many lovely Gifts 🎁 Angie 💗 xx
I spent a day and a half following this tutorial and never regretted it! The end result is worth the time and effort. Thank you so much for this video ♥️
How did you get a cluster and then 4 double's? From what im seeing at the end of the 12 previous the cluster starts in the last double and glthe last 2 doubles of the cluster is in the first 2. Please help im not getting it
I've spent the pass 3-4days doing this project and I'm nearly done. I'm so proud of myself and u was able to slow down the speed of her tutorial which helped.
Love this doily pattern so much !.. Guess what..I made one yesterday. I used 3 skein 50g 8-ply 50% cotton 50% acrylic yarn. They are so beautiful once it laid on my coffee table ❤️
Thanks for this tutorial! It’s absolutely beautiful For anyone attempting this…it’s not US stitch friendly…fyi. I had to slow the speed and rewind a lot before I realized that
I just finished making this. It took exactly one skein of Caron Simply Soft with about 12 inches of yarn left! I did use a 3.75 hook instead of a 3.50 hook, so maybe the smaller hook will use lightly less yarn.
I sure appreciate you sharing this pattern. My only concern is sometimes you crochet into a stitch and it's in no way easy to see. So we watch further, then rewind, then again watch further to finally figure out which stitch you are crocheting in to. Thanks.
@@juliekronson9165 hello gals! Theres an option at the right hand side of the video to slow up the speed. Click the 3 vertical dots and go to playback speed, then select the speed you prefer. 🤍💞
i have been crocheting for only 6 months, found your tutorial delightful, i made this in christmas colors, it is gorgeous! thanks so much for sharing this tutorial, will for sure follow you for more
She doesn’t say it and it doesn’t show her doing it, but I think on Round 4 there is supposed to be a chain 1 between each of the sets of 4 dc. Because at the end of round 4 she says and does a ch 1 before joining with a slip stitch, and then on round 5 there are ch 1 spaces between the sets of 2 dc*ch 1*2 dc that we have to put a dc into.
This pattern is so beautiful. The tutorial is just a little bit fast and she's not really showing the patterns after each round for the viewers to study it. But I managed to follow through. I just pause the video every step at round 18 on wards.
Im having trouble with round 18. I started with chain 3 and made a cluster by adding the next two double stitches. The problem is I cant make but 3 double crochet before another cluster
Do you have a written pattern for rows 18 to finish? I would love to finish this doily. I understand that you had young ones and needed to hurry through the last bit. It's really sweet you tried to finish.
i also love this pattern but i find that you go to fast and i have to keep rewinding the video and trying to see where you are going into ... i do hope this feedback helps ... hope to do more of your videos :)
Please let us have another video of this pattern in a slower motion so that we may be able to follow what has to be done because it is far to fast to understand. Thank you
At this point I have made 4 of these doilies in different sizes but if I go to long without making one it's hard to remember. I painstakingly wrote it down once, then lost it. Now I am trying to make it again.
On row four after I think it was your second two double plus chain one plus two double, you chained 1 b4 moving to your next space but you didn't do that to the rest of them?
Hi, I made this and noticed the same thing. I put a chain 1 between each. (2DC,1CH,2DC )in the chain 1 space,1CH, repeat around and it worked wonderfully.
Hi there. I just got a bit confused with Rounds 4 & 5. On Round 4, the only CH1 indicated is in the 2DC + CH1 + 2DC in Round 3's same bundle chains. Moving from one 2DC+1CH+2DC, I didn't see/hear any CH1 to go to the next set of 2DC+1CH+2DC. So when it came for Round 5 to put a 1SC after the CH2 of each 2DC+1CH+2DC, i got a bit confused. Thank goodness for the visual tutorial of where to place the 1SC. I truly like your tutorials and am trying my best to make all your doily designs. Thank you so very much for sharing your expertise. Best regards!
I notice where you got confused, and I don't understand either. Was that initial 2DC+CH1+2DC followed by a CH1 intentional, or was it a mistake? Because I see how that extra CH1 transition doesn't apply to the rest of the round 4.
You have to do this chain 1 between each 2DC+CH1+2DC on round 4 (she says row but they're ROUNDS!!) because the circle gets bigger, you can't do the same pattern as previous row, it wouldn't work, as the doily gets bigger there has to be something done to make the round bigger. Anyways, I decide to do it. I see that she never answers the questions!! o_O ;-) Dominique
