hi. thank you so much. your vocal and visual instructions are very clear. thank you very much for the effort. I am starting my adventure with Plarn and so looking for doily ideas to form the tops of caps/hats. I love this pattern you have made. I will take the advice you gave Catherine and repeat row 3 and four.

Hi Olivia, thanks so much for this tutorial. I started to learn crochet just 1 week ago. Your doily pattern was the first complete project that I attempted - I started it and finished it all in the space of 1 saturday morning - I was very pleased with myself! Thanks for the clear instructions and the lovely pattern, I am now totally 'hooked' on crochet, thanks to your wonderful vids ;)

Oh Olivia, thank you, thank you, thank you after 12 months of trying I finally get it and made the doily. Thank you for demystifying it, I am quite ham-fisted so this was a real achievement for me. Thank you again :)

Many thanks for a very clear tutorial. I had some left over crochet cotton (aunt Lydia 10), I had been crocheting mesh bags to use when buying vege to save plastic. I didn't have enough cotton left for one more bag and found your doily tutorial. I never dreamed I would be able to crochet a doily being a left handed basic crocheter, I managed 3 doily's before the thread ran out. Keep well.

I love it! Thank you for the great tutorial, very easy to follow. Even for a Dutch gal like me, only have been crocheting for 10 months. I'm learning UK terminology just by watching what stitches you're doing, you're showing them so well!! Love this pattern, it turned out beautiful.

Hi :) I made these years ago & they have help VERY well with DAILY use, & washing. It's a great first time doily/coaster pattern & I just wanted to thank you for teaching me this years ago & im so glad the pattern is still up cause I want to make more :)) I did mine in 2 colours for each coaster. I used really nice cotton yarn. So I just changed colours for the cluster round, it just adds a POP to it. I had 4 colours so I rotated the combinations & made a set, people can identify which is theirs too :)) Much thanks🙏

Hi there! Thanks for a fantastic tutorial. You're so calm & easy to understand & not a robot :) Lovely pattern. I changed colours on the row where you do your first cluster of 4 trebles row (can't remember what row number) and then changed back to main color. Looks fabulous!!! So for a beginner if you want to change colours try doing it at that point. You get a lovely stripe of colour. Thanks ever so much for this tut, you're so down to earth & pleasant to listen to. Thanks again!! :)) 1 down 99 to go LOL!! ;)

he he. .. aww thank you.. I love the sound of the stripes, I'm a big fan of changing colours. But I like to keep things as simple as I can in videos. Good luck with your 100 doilies! :D Thanks for your lovely comment x
