  • 1997 - 2001 Honda Prelude Complete Front and Rear Knuckles Rebuild [ Hub, Bearings, Balljoints ] In this video, I'll show you how to refurbish your front and rear knuckles. I replaced both lower balljoints, both rear hubs, both front hubs, front wheel bearings, and the infamous retaining clip.
Although I've done a video for 5th Generation Prelude's suspension, the Knuckles Rebuild is another great addition to this series of repairs. Hope you find this video helpful! Thank you to all subscribers and channel supporters!!
Next upload will be installing all the suspension parts we have for the Prelude! Can't wait to put this gem back on the road..

Front wheel bearing snap ring. Heat with handheld propane torch for 5 minutes spray with pb blaster and it comes right out in one try.

Good to know . I already did the upper and lower ball joints front and rear. Just got a cel po335.

Man, that P0335 is also a pain to do.. if you’ll do the oil-pump and the sensor, might as well do the tbelt, water pump, and tensioner.. But if it was just recently serviced, converting to OBD1 dizzy will do the trick, since the sensors will be inside the distributor.. It’s just a matter on how you want to tackle it..

I have been trying to find the part number for that lower ball joint in the rear knuckle. Did you use the same ball joint part number on the front and rear knuckles? Just had to make sure because the spring clip holding the boots are a different color from the front and rear ball joints.

Front and rear lower ball joints share same part number.. they have different colors because I got them in different times (2 to 3 years apart), same vendor.. I tend to keep parts in hand..

parehas lang po ba ito sa 3rd gen na prelude?, i will be doing front wheelbearings this weekend.. 1990 prelude S

Process is almost parehas kapatid.. but as far as parts, magkaiba sila sa 5th gen.. keep mo ba 4ws system? Or convert mo sa regular? If so, mas mainam convert mo sa early accord para mas may chance ka na makakuha pa ng mga parts as they're still ample..
