New Wheel Bearing & Seal Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ic/1ASH...
This video shows you how to install new front wheel bearings from TRQ on your 1998-2011 Ford Ranger. If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away.
This repair was done on a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door RWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

That knuckle and caliper looks like it's been in the bottom of the ocean for 100 uears.😂
Ford mechanic here. Most all your video's are spot on by what the shop manual states but not this one. On the spindle nut the way you did it is a great way to burn up your bearings. Here is the correct way. I have it memorized from 23 years of working on fords... IT should be 24 ft-lbs on the 27mm nut as your spinning the rotor, back off the nut 175 degrees, then retorque the 27mm nut to 17 INCH-LBS. Then what I do pop the wheel on w/ lug nuts to check for bearing play.
Extremely helpful. I replaced the front left wheel bearing in my '03 Ranger using this video. Thank you!
I live in Southern Indiana, seen what it can do to cars, and I'm completely shocked and thankful that my mazda b3000 came from the south, so much cleaner than anything up here😂
Thanks brother for giving me the confidence.
That was one of the very best "how to" videos I have seen on RUclips. Very detailed and demonstrated every step necessary to get the job done. I only have one request, can you list the special tools you used to remove the seals and compress the calipers. Thanks for the great job on this.
Thanks so much for the guide! This video makes me glad I dont live in the rust belt 😳
Need to know the name of those special pliers you used to take that cap off. Nothing I have is working. Just scuffing the sides badly.
What is the little brake shield looking thing that sits inside the rotors ? I want to order that with my rotors! Jumping my truck 60’ really did a number on the front end 😭🤣 suprised I only need one bearing and one upper control arm but replacing everything
what size is the cotter pin?
Nice video! Does it count for European Ford Ranger?
Do you need to bleed the brakes after this job? I’m looking to change my wheel bearings, rotors and brake pads
+@jpatty5964 We recommend bleeding the brakes. This helps to remove any dirt in the braking system.
Imstalled new rotors and abs light and elec slip light on…. PLEASE HELP!
is this the same for a 2002 mazda b4000 2wheel drive
+@newt66c33 The installation process should be very similar.
There’s no way this truck hasn’t spent at least an entire year at the bottom of a lake
Why the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 does the inner bearing not COME PRE-installed WITH THE NEW ROTOR!
It all looked like it was all one piece till he started crumbling it apart
Hey it's just like a boeing 787 imagine that
😮😮😮🤟
