I bought the STARTRC version a few weeks ago for my P3. I also had a ScottyMakesStuff one with my P1. The STARTRC works just fine and is much better machined than the Scotty. A winner for sure!
Great find, I do a lot of LIVE walks with the Pocket 3 and I like the "bobbing" it seems more organic but that's just me 🤪. I have found that using tilt lock and holding the Pocket 3 at your side about hip height gives a slightly smoother gait. This stabilizer would be great if you're running (which if you saw my channel I definitely don't do) have fun, just subscribed I'll be checking out the rest of your vids soon. Tim
I just bought one here in the US on Amazon under the brand “S erounder”. It cost $48.18 and came with a two grip setup, where the lower grip can be expanded out into a tripod stand mount. It has additional thread mounts for attaching other things light lights or mics. I like it a lot and plan to use it not only to dampen motion while walking (which it does very well) but also as a stand for vlogging or zoom type calls. When I purchased the Osmo Pocket 3, I hadn’t considered that a three axis gimbal wouldn’t account for walking-but of course that involves a fourth axis, the “Z” axis. This device works very well to do just that!
Yes these work, to varying degrees for that bob bob bob, Bob BOB BORAN (leave Barbara Anne out of this) -the trick is to resolve it without turning a miniaturized gimbal rig into, well... a NON miniaturized setup, else what is the point? It's akin to taking a pro Cinema Camera, attaching 8 Helium filled specially shaped exotic material "lighter than air gravity reduction devices" (balloons) specialized low rolling resistance ground traversion vehicle (skateboard/scooter) -putting it all together and proudly proclaiming "we have created an effortless cinema camera that makes filming "effortless" ! In other words the solution shouldn't be worse than the problem. This is straddling the line. Its small, lightweight and works. I might give it a go. Or, I'll just keep endlessly talking about it until I grow bored and move on to the next thing I don't need, but convince myself life isnt worth living without. 😂
Pocket 3 has a built in stabilizer that works fine. This is like putting a gimbal on top of a gimbal. Just another thing to carry around that is totally unnecessary.
@@Big-GVideo Exactly, its a personal preference and it did improve it slightly no question. I just dont think its necessary for vlogging. I would however find it useful for iphone footage if they had one for that. Cheers
I have both and the image quality of the x4 still isn't nearly as good as the pocket 3. I wanted it to be because the x4 is so easy to use but it's just not there yet. I think that 1" sensor on the pocket 3 is going to be hard for these smaller sensor cameras to beat.
Been on the lookout for one of these for a while, ordered ! cheers
Wow, glad it helped
Liked your video, ordered the Z, got it today, it works a treat!! Thanks for the review.❤
Thank you for letting me know. Glad it worked out for you

This is the same as the STARTR one, just called something different
Just the thing I was looking for, do alot of hikes and running where this is perfect!! ❤❤
Glad it was helpful
TY for sharing, I just received mine from Amazon, and I can't wait to try it out. My Ninja walk is rubbish as well so I'm hoping this will help.
I too have a rubbish ninja walk (more elephant than Ninja). Hope it helps you out and let me know how you get on
Thanks so much for this great little tip. Just ordered one after seeing this video.👍
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks so much Tim for leaving this comment. I may try your tip!
Nice footage of Caldecote lake in MK
3 points for spotting that
Was gonna say I'm local as well and was like this is nearby lol
Aww, man! Now everyone will notice and see me videoing with my bouncy Pocket 3. Thanks for sharing! LOL!!
No problem :)
So great 😮
Thanks so much for saying
Thanks for the tip, a really nice gadget
No problem 👍
Thanks - very helpful 👍🏻
No problem, thanks for commenting
Great accessory!
Thanks for letting me know
Anyone know would it work with the Pocket 2 ?
I suspect it would, but I'll try it to confirm
@Big-GVideo thank you I would appreciate that !
I was wondering the same thing
@@LibertyWarrior1776 Hopefully I'll have this done by next week
@LibertyWarrior1776 if it works with the pocket 2 I'd order it in 5 seconds lol
I wanted to buy one instantly. But they don't ship to the United States. 😢😢
You might be able to get the 'STARTRC' version. I'm sure they are the same, but just under different names
Try Scotty Makes Stuff. I had this for my original Pocket so he may do one for the 3?

But why are the reviews bad that it doesn't work properly or it's heavy or something
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ All I can do is convey my thoughts on the item. I think it's good.

❤İ buy that one too🎉
Thanks so much
Your twenty dollar gadget is currently for sale on Amazon for £37.30
When I purchased it there was a STARTRC version for £37.30. However the XBERSTAR costs £20 (link here amzn.to/4eWccMV)
@@Big-GVideo Great tip. Bought it. Thanks
You are closer to Europe than to usa.
Give the price in € !!!
But most of my viewers are from the USA, so it makes sense to quote $. So the price is 20 EUR

I personally don't like to see the up and down motion in my videos and so for me this is a good tool to remove this
@@Big-GVideo Exactly, its a personal preference and it did improve it slightly no question. I just dont think its necessary for vlogging. I would however find it useful for iphone footage if they had one for that. Cheers
You can use it for all light cameras as it has a tripod mount on it. For an iPhone you'd need a phone holder but it would work
you are wrong.
Disagree with that statement
Maybe it's good but I would feel embarrassed walk ng with this gadget
Possibly. The set up is not as small and discreet than just using the Pocket 3 alone
This camera is outdated. Get an insta360 x4. No need for this funky stabilizer and far better quality 8k imaging.
Thanks for commenting, but I disagree with your statement

To each their own. @@Big-GVideo
It’s far from outdated! It’s an awesome camera
Agree on that
