I've watched videos on these Dept 10 pedals for 2 years & I've never heard anyone mention that they can be run at 18 volts.
how do you know you can run 18 V for more headroom? I have the dual drive and I read all the manuals and specs but never found any information on this
Hi, thank you for the demo. Does the Dual Drive store settings when changing eq and or ISF when going from one channel to the other ? Thanks a lot for any feedback!!
Just hoping. Theoretically I could use one of these with a regular clean solid state amp and get a great "tube" amp sound? Situation. My wife works at home and i'm nearly always restricted to the basement and low volume (or headphones). Hopefully I could get a tube amp sound at a low volume and be able to use headphones with a regular amp. If i'm wrong, let me know and i'll pick up and go back to the drawing board. Thanks!
Yes these pedals should still be useable at lower volumes, you can also plug headphones directly into either of the dual pedals, if your amp has a headphone output you'll be able to get a great sound that way too .
You can also connect either of the dual pedals to a laptop and listen through headphones that way while using the free cab rig software to try out different sounds. Cheers.
Not for boomers
Why not?
@@jefflaliberte6911 No idea why I said that. I am a boomer lol
@@anthonydavella8350 it is much more boomers friendly than modern modellers with touch screens and menu diving via bluetooth. For this thing USB connection and tweaking on PC is optional. It can be used completely as it is, just as a preamp, the same way boomers used those Marshall or Engl preamps.
@@SergeiVlassov Thanks man
@Anthony Davella You welcome! I'm kind of boomer myself :) I am not comfortable with menus and Bluetooth connections. I prefer tweaking mechanical knobs.
