i finally figured out how to get a great direct recording sound like you do in the video... use the XLR output into my interface. me not dumb now!!! i noticed that in the video.
Josh...Great video here. Much appreciated. As a Dept 10 user, I would love to see more videos using the Dept 10 dual drive, dual distortion, & boost as a complete tube d.i. silent stage solution. A reverb, delay &/or modulation pedal in the effects loop, too, just as most of us use these in our silent stage applications. Preferably, a dual drive set up for a clean channel in ch 1 & moderate gain in ch 2, then another dual drive used as overdrive(s) into that. Everyone demoing these dual drives focuses on the gain sounds; not enough featuring tweaking the "clean" channel 1 set on CLEAN for big/clear/clean tones.
