Thanks, Sasha. Very nice demo. I have this pedal, and I agree it doesn’t necessarily have the most impressive tones, but if you play around as you said, it can get pretty nice. Also, your complaint about not having a master volume for XLR/cab-sim output is not quite correct: As you can see on your Architect screens, there is a master volume (and EQ) you can set on the computer. You did not show the master EQ that comes up when you click the slider icon above master volume slider
Thanks Vincenzo! I found out about the software controlled master volume later but it still doesn’t help you on a stage when the sound guy asks to lower the volume a bit.
Hey trying to find the answer to this… wondering if it could be a standalone cabrig sim if I have my favourite tube preamp in the dual drive loop, then I can use its dual drives (on and off) to push my preamp?
Well done review. Finally a loop, a chanceStrymon and Walrus Audio neglected. If only the channel switches would swap between clean / crunch and crunch / OD respectively instead of on / off only. That would turn it into a monsterous 4 channel amp killer. Plus stacking and a master volume and free drinks.
Awesome man! I don't know how they had set it up but if it was stock I can imagine your expectations were low. I wasn't impressed either, but after some tweaking in the software it got much better!
Agreed. I would love to see a proper comparison review between these Dept 10 and the Two Notes Le Lead and/or Le Crunch. With a bottom-line of which “feels and sounds better” conclusion, in addition to sound demos (which can be misleading, since they’re not enough time in a video to play with all the settings properly). The videos I’ve seen suggest the Blackstar has a more versatile set of tones, but the cab modeling seems a bit lacking. The Two Notes seem a little narrower in their tonal ranges, with a lot more controls and channel stacking, but also some awkward UI choices (e.g., ports on the side). It’s hard to demo these live, so I’d love to see such a comparison review.
Most of the things sound really good and in line with what states on the tin. Though EL84's do not sound like that. If anything they sound brighter. Also what USA 2x12 has no high end? 4x12 UK sounds awesome for me.
So far the best presentation of this pedal, out of several I watched.
Thanks Igor, that means a lot!

Yes I agree the best presentation of this pedal 👍🎸😀
Great demonstration!
Great demo Sasha, love your work! And that 335…🔥
Thanks Mal!
Best way to start the morning!
Gotta say the andertons' vid set my expectation for the XLR really low but this vid does otherwise. Looks like I am buying this pedal XD

Nice review! Does the usb sound interface work both ways? Can you play a backing track through phones out?
Curious how it compares to the Two Notes 'Le Crunch' - seems to have a couple of the niggles you mentioned covered (stacking channels for example)

Does it sound better than that dsm&humboldt simplifier dlx you made me buy?!!!
Do you need to change the valve in the pedal overtime? Thanks
Will this work as a 2in/2 out interface or is it 1in/2 out?
Would like to use it with some stereo kit

Great demo and playing Sasha! Do you know if this can got XLR direct to a PA/FOH without an amp? This doesn't sound like an amp-modeler unit.
Yes, it can! It's not an amp modeler, it's does its own amp thing with cab sims.
