Helpful, but would have liked to hear more clean tones with the Dual Drive. I'm looking for a blues and classic rock kind of sound. Maybe the Dept. 10 Boost pedal is better for all that.
Don't get how it can be called distortion pedal when it's 2 heavier channels state they are overdrive channels. Thought distortion and overdrive were 2 completely different things.
Technically any form of clipping the original signal is classified as distortion. Nowadays overdrive is a term often referring to a soft clipping circuit, and distortion to hard clipping. Yet Eddie van Halen developed the MXR 5150 overdrive which most would classify as a distortion pedal.
