Any suggestions on how to get high gain tones but cut down on noise with this pedal? Any tips short of getting a noise gate?

Some people sayed that the DI section is not so good because flat and not dynamic so they suggest to plug the pedal into something else like torpedo cab M, what do you think about it? Another super video mate 👏👏👏. As always. Sounds great. Ok I’ve got a stupid question (potentially. how does this or the drive pedal in this range stack up beside the Thomas Blug Bluguitar? I’m taking more about in a direct to PA front of house system as an amp (and direct recording) as this will be what I mainly use it for. I was very impressed when I heard the Bluguitar but as this is a new product I don’t know as much really about it
Are you able to use it in front of a quad cortex or other type of amp modelers, that would diffenly be interesting 🤔
How Is the sound from headphoines from this pedal?
Hey man great video! Just a question about the fx loop. Is it an always on one or is it activated (on and off) by switching on the channels (ch1 or ch2). My idea is to place an always on delay pedal in the fx loop and having it on only when I activate ch1 or ch2. Is it correct? Thank you for reply 👍
Probably need a loop/switcher for that scenario.
How would you compared with a victory+torpedo for the same range of sounds? Night and day?
From demos doesn't sound like a night and day at all. I think Pete Thorn compared both, and to my ears they sound about the same level.

How Is the sound from headphoines from this pedal?
With time I must admit digital is not always reacting well and I tend to prefer real tube stuff, like this or even the alternative analogic devices using nutube or nanotube.
Digital has aliasing issues. Even for high end ones. We need DSP 200,000x faster to get totally rid of aliasing generated by digital distortion, because they creat a lot of artefacts all around the spectrum which aren’t harmonics. In fact it does the opposite of real tubes which product more harmonics than solid state « perfect » amplifiers. But that’s another benefit.
And that’s how gainy real tube amps can sound so « clear »
People make aliasing a bigger deal than it is.
@@caseylockwood5512 believe me I WANTED to have my preference for AxeFxIII. Spent thousands of dollars in those high end stuff. I only wanted to sound equal, not even better.
I have 30 years in gear experience and recording.
BTW I believe fractal is not that far for pream and power amp sections. But cabs aren’t there yet.
Even with some new FullRez IR, we need more bouncing and load feel.
The day 2 years old digital gear will stop loosing resale value I think that will mean that the sound will be there.
I would have a better musical journey investing in true analogic gear. They are also more inspiring to use. Digital is ear tiring. There is still something my brain can feel and it’s not good.
That said my AxeFxIII Turbo is already preordered ;)
The playing is superb, the sound of the pedal, meh.
Which I am surprised at, as an avid Blackstar supporter and Blackstar HT Stage 100 amp owner.
Perhaps I need to hear more demos.
That’s the issue of Ibanez az. Pickups aren’t very pleasing IMO, that’s why I sold mines and got charvel USA with stainless steel frets
@@notalkguitarampplug-insrev784 Possibly, I shove a Gibson Flying V though my Blackstar HT Stage 100, with a Digitech Bad Monkey (TS clone coming in at £30 brand new) in front, and the sound is nothing short of incredible.

Everthing whether it starts with a vowel sound or not , they will say AY in stead of a or an. An goes before a vowel sound ( not always a vowel ) e.g. an S an F a U ! because a U in English doesn't produce a vowel Sound !. For this reason I stopped your video at 2:08. Sorry.
