Hey man I’ve been looking at your videos! Do you granulate when making your benzolift for your shells? Or do you just use straight benzolift powder for the lifting of your shells?
@@carlo264 do you have to granulate the red cedar black powder? What is the ratio!? I got a ball mill but I would like to skip that step if I can LoL and is the blue 70/30/10 flash safe? Thanks so much dude!!!
@@zackarybenoit5467 To me blue al 70/30/10 flash powder it is safe, and yes i do granulate the red cedar black powder and my formula is Cannon modified Potassium nitrate 78 Charcoal red cedar 19 Sulfur 10 and ball mill for 3 hrs
@@carlo264 okay one more question I THINK! So what do you you to time the shell. I currently have Chinese time fuse and I’m making like a little tube to go around it. Could you maybe help me out with this part? I’m making the salute shells 3 inch!
@@zackarybenoit5467 I currently use Chinese time fuse about 1,1/2 inch perfect for a 3-inch shell salute then i put a cardboard tube of an OD like 1/4 rith on the top inside of the time fuse so can flush of the end of the shell so can lide the spark right in the metal of the shell.

I granulated that was long time ago now I'm using red cedar really hot fast black powder
