I mean yeah! People are mentioning like.. only couple of songs. We got.. Hailie's song , Stronger than i was , Shake that Ass, Beautiful , Kings never Die. He is a rapper & obviously he is not signing throughout these songs but there's a good portion in each of these wer we can experience, hear him singing.

In case no one knows, the smokey hair reference is when michael jackon did the pepsi commercial and his hair got caught on fire from the background sparks.
Every scene in this video completely caught you off guard 😂 Being controversial was something I guess he was pretty good at lmao Eminem is fearless i'll tell you that much. I guess what he's doing here is what comedians do, making jokes/parodies on sensitive/taboo topics, and if you're offended, you're offended, if you're not, then great. There's one line in Eminem's song called The Real Slim Shady at the beginning of the final verse that goes "..im only giving you things you joke about with your friends inside your living room, the only difference is I got the balls to say it in front of y'all and I don't gotta be forced to sugarcoat it all..." and he wasn't lying when he wrote that 😂 I mean he was also on some hardcore drugs back then as well but still...
Great to see you back Sushi. Love all your videos specially of Eminem. Your reactions are awesome. Keep up the awesome work beautiful. Much love from 🇨🇦.

I'm just binge-watching all your videos and having grown up not fifteen miles from where Marshall grew up, I can't stop cracking up as I see you progress through his work LOL. This song is absolutely chock-full of references to an absolute fuckton of contemporary news events. And keep in mind Em was quite literally high as fuck THE ENTIRE TIME he made this album. Also, that little girl is Alyson Stoner from Step Up. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LISTEN TO THE UNCENSORED VERSIONS! Lol.
You have to react to “Legacy” by Eminem. I’m a life long Stan and I think if you really want to understand His story, and ability as a lyricist and artist you must hear this song
So cool to see you doing so well. Glad you're feeling better. Just wanted to drop in and answer you question you asked in the superman video. If you listen to eminem from his early years through current it will make more sense. With his vulnerability and willingness to tell people his life and feelings, you saw a slim shady in his early 20s. If you listen to the song Fall off his current album kamikazee where he goes at mumble rappers you can hear the total difference in his voice, maturity and flow. Halie's song is cool if you wanna hear em sing. Also remember that eminem is a great battle rapper and has ended a few careers. You should consider covering a rap war like when eminem and benzino went song for song battling. That's really where eminem shines with his battle skills. You can look up on youtube how legit rappers straight out say they wouldn't mess with him. I'd love to see what you would think of fall off his current album compared to these early day slim shady songs. Be a great comparison too.
Fun fact: Michael Jackson got this video banned from BET. Michael Jackson complained about the video very publicly which is very surprising because he got parodied all the time and almost never complained about it. I can't remember any other time when Michael Jackson complained about someone making fun of him.
It kinda goes back to D-12 days... (The Dirty Dozen) there's only 6 members in the group... But they all have two personalities they rap as..... Back then it was Slim Shady & Marshall Mathers. Idk dope shit. Love it or hate it, Em & Dre really made an impact in hip hop. They were a true power house.
Im a first time subscriber! I'm actually happy we got to see the funny side of Eminem (Marshall Mathers). I've been a fan of Em since 1999 at 10 years old. Legend!!!
I’m so torn bc his videos are so good yet they don’t embody what his real lyrics say. I also think it’s wonderful that you’re learning more about Em. You stepped up from the classic “judging a book by its cover” and opened it. You’re reading it. And just maybe you’re finding out the story is much better than you thought. The first song I heard of his was Without Me (when it first came out). A friend had it on in her car. I liked it so much she let me play it over & over on the ride home. I found you reviewing his music and seeing your transformation- not only with Eminem, but realizing you wanted more out of music- is amazing. It’s been quite the honor watching your musical taste grow. It’s been nice. Thank you!
I didn't realize he also had Alyson Stoner in this video... she is the little girl who danced in all Missy Elliott's music videos when she was younger.
There is B-Rabbit, Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers and Eminem. Each of them have a personal way of singing and rapping. Imagine a single mumble rapper trying to compete with that.
One of those little girls dancing is Alyson Stoner. You might remember her from around this time from movies like “cheaper by the dozen” or Channing Tatums little sis or whatever in Step up
@@TOOSUSHI Explicit version, the censored version of anything Eminem is not as good, a lot of words get cut that take away from the emotion of the song
"Just lose it" is all about pop references from the 80's thru y2k. 5:20 is a callback to Allison Stoner, who got her start as a dancer (and singer) as a child dancing is some of Missy Elliot's early videos ("Work It", 2009). Possibly even Allison herself, in the same costume. She's "all growed up now", look up her YT channel.
The other message of the song was, "oh, you think *I* am a bad role model, how about these other people that America liked and trusted?" Because MJ and Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) hid dark secrets under their child-like personas... The bit with Dre touched on Em's alleged homophobia. But hey, the 'hood is homophobic, ain't nothin; new there. It was great when notably gay musician Elton John befriended Marshall and performed with him live on stage...
If you wanna hear Eminem sing, listen to "hailie's song" The song is crazy good with great story telling when he was in his slim shady era. Really gives some vibes, honestly
