I decided to remake this video because not only was it the first commentary video that I made, but the first version had terrible sound quality and was also super short. I was happy to be able to improve the quality and add a bunch of new information.

Milk undoubtedly deserved to go home instead of Thorgy in the rusical episode. At least it was obvious who Thorgy was portraying while Milk didn't even vaguely resemble Celine.

Ok, but no one here is talking about how much Milk SUUUUUUUCKS lol. She came back thinking she was the greatest queen ever because she landed one cover shoot- OUT OF DRAG!!! Her talent was velcro-ing cardboard dresses to a body suit. She can't act, has no real comedy or improv talents, and consistently thought she was the potential winner of every challenge week after week. And I'll NEVER forgive her for stepping all over Trixie in that improv challenge, I think it was called the Bitchelor or something like that? There's no telling how many ACTUAL funny moments we were robbed of being Milk kept sticking her monstrous mug right into the camera and stealing all of Trixies moments just so that she could spend more time not being funny. God, Milk SUCKED so hard on that season, and she really didn't do very good on her original season either. I will never get tired of hating on Milk. Ugh. She's just like the bodily fluid she named herself after; gross, and makes me sick.

Thory’s mom was a librarian. So it was really a really missed opportunity for Thorgy to tell her story more in the book ball. Thorgy would have won.

It’s probably hard for someone who lives in the middle of nowhere with 1 stop light and still hang out with the same people you went to high school with town but for people who live in cities, especially cities where people perform a lot, it’s not that hard to believe lol like at all
Thorgy is so gold in Purse First Impressions- I mean her beef with Tia Kofi is one of the funniest things ever. Her chemistry with Bob is also something which is not talked about enough when it comes to RDPR duos.

@@thomicrisler9855 I looked it up and apparently thorgy went on bobs podcast and they were talking about the US season airing at that time and convo shifted to talk about UK2 and apparently thorgy went really hard on Tia. The Reddit thread it led me to just kept talking about how it was unreasonably harsh (like ‘left a bad taste in their mouth’ harsh)
Thorgy's S8 finale look is stained in my memory due to her shouting "I LOVE IT!" during the Trixie Mattel and Acid Betty moment. 🤣

I always felt like the Stevie Nicks look criticism from the judges was such an incredible reach, and she'd done a perfectly respectable job. I think that's one of the most blatant instances of the judges being biased and/or picking favourites for me.
Confirmed by Rock M Sakura that AS8 was supposed to be an early outs season, but when it became a reason to crown Jimbo, and I personally love Jimbo, she dropped out.

Thorgy was doing cool, quirky fashion, comedy and style when Willow Pill was in kindergarten. The fans and the judges was not ready for Thorgy. She was literally born 15 years to early.
Bob was the ONLY person i was ok with winning the season after Thorgy left. And tbh her calling out Ben Dela Christ is icon behavior.
Ben gives secretly problematic tease. She needs to stand up.
For me too. I rooted for Thorgy hard but the RuCo empire episode made me a Team Bob convert. All of thisssssss was iconic.

Thorgy and Bob, when they are together, it's so entertaining! Don't know how many times I watched the Pit Stop episode when Bob wore both the Purse First wig AND the robot look from the roller skate runway!

Because the heavy hitters don't wanna do it! The rumors have been that less and less queens have been wanting to do All Stars because they know production tampers with stuff or the fan reaction may be different a second time around. They don't wanna spend money just to go home second like Thorgy!

Living in New York, I've met a lot of Ru Girls - and Thorgy was by far the kindest one! She was hosting an event showcasing local drag artists, and she literally sat at every single table to thank people for coming.

Thorgy, Betty and Bob are just so endlessly talented beyond “simply” drag, that I feel like there was never going to be room for all three. Betty was frigging amazing. I have personally never been the one to be like: "this or that queen was robbed or should have won!" but, I LOVE Thorgy. I love how creative and campy she is and how funny she is and was on the drag race. I also love how real she was on drag race as well. She wasn't afraid to let her opinion be known! Her amazing ideas and creativity are so overlooked by people I think and I think she shouldn't be as underrated as she is in the drag race world. Thorgy needs to be appreciated and loved for who she is more! (also love the video 💓)
also, I don't mean she's underrated in the drag scene overall, just in the drag race world, because not a lot of the new fans are aware of who Thorgy is.

Hearing that her mom passed away while Thorgy was barely out of her teens hit me like an electric shock. My mom passed away when I was 22, so I do feel the pain she must have felt.
I met Thorgy at a winery by my house on Long Island last summer. I knew it was her as I knew she lived a few towns over from me. A friend and I were nervous to say hi as Thorgy was with her family. We eventually gathered up enough courage to go over and say hello and Thorgy was beyond nice! Even took pictures with us and talked to us for a couple minutes before going back over to her family. An overall wonderful person with the kindest heart.

it's hard to come up with a cast of heavy hitters because of how they treat queens like thorgy. the ones that have been on the show know how it works, and know that if they go back there's way more to lose than gain, especially with the shit production pulls these days

FIY for the people dont know; Production does ask 'heavy hitters' to come back, they just decline simply since its not worth it to risk their original placement get overshadowed by a possible lower placement on a season. That's why All stars 9 is the way its going to become now

Omg HEY, GIRL, HEYYYYY! I was just about to post about this and then I saw your comment. I was there, too! It was SUCH an amazing performance and Thorgy was absolutely iconic. Between her violin/cello performances, she even did a little "Drag Story Hour", reading that children's book about Harvey Milk, and I was just so freakin' HAPPY! 🫶
For a FREE performance, Thorgy gave us so much energy and exuded so much happiness (along with excellent comedic timing). Her versatility on the stage is simply incredible. It was one of the best experiences ever (for me)! I had absolutely NO voice the next day because I was screaming for her so much, LOL. And you're the one she told to "shush"? I love it! You are amazing! Thorgy is amazing! And of course, I would LOVE to see her back on DR again (though considering how she was "treated" and "edited" in both of her runs, especially AS3 (grrrrrr), I wouldn't blame her at all if she didn't take the bait. She truly deserves a FAIR chance at the crown and I'm pretty sure we all know that, after both of her seasons wronged her, production would most likely fail her a third time. And while I hate to say it, it doesn't seem that Ru appreciates her and her talents NEARLY as much as her audience does. Ugh. So disappointing because she is certainly worthy of far more credit than she was given. 😭).
Anyway, my apologies for the essay, lol. I'm just so thrilled to see this comment, knowing we were both there together! What a legendary Queen she is and what an epic show she put on for us! And yes, I kept saying "reading is what?" To get her to say "fundamental," but she just told me to shush instead. 😂 I still think about that and get so elated. 😅
And, I agree about Thorgy going back on Drag Race... When she said that my immediate reaction was "ehhh, well if you want to." I would love to see more Thorgy on my TV but would also be heartbroken if she was elminated ambiguously a third time. 😢
