came to watch because i got the 49% failed just as you did and couldnt figure out what i was missing. mission 5 was bugged too though there is a single mission download fix.
AoA indexer has a brightness control, not sure about the click spot but I have it bound to an axis. I do use Munkwolf community keybinds mod, so I can't say whether it is default or extra.
