What a STUNNING thing! The fact that Aston Martin was able to keep the V12 in this day and age is amazing. I feel that each Aston Martin is timeless and this new Vanquish just carries on that tradition.
I was lucky enough go be invited to this reveal and it is absolutely stunning from every angle in person. The sound in the correct setting shook the walls. The interior design is now brilliant instead of ho hum. Shmee is correct in that there is no one place you need to stand to get a good angle- they are all virtually perfect. I have always been a huge Aston fan and love the fact there aren’t 15 at every car event I attend. Well done all around Aston Martin. Shmee good to have you out in Houston.

The original concept has been taken to perfection. At this point the design is exhausted. The next one has to be totally different and hopefully as great as this one.
I will never understand why Tim shuns the original Vanquish so much. It was touched on very briefly here but it is such a significant part of the company’s history and is still stunning in person today. And before anyone thinks of commenting on the gearbox, I own one and it’s not that bad. When I saw the AM promo video earlier where it’s shown in the mirror effect and the lines on the new car I could see the lines of the original even more so than the One-77. That nose and rear haunches speak original Vanquish to me more than anything.
A thing of beauty. I owned a 53 plate Vanquish... I miss it SO much. The quarter light went down to a point, like this one, whereas other Astons I saw were cut off at 90 deg. A small design point that made a huge difference (to me) in the flow and visual impact.
The car looks like a beast! My favourite area is the rear with the floating elements with its name badge sitting proudly in the centre, very neat. There's something previous Vanquish styling which I prefer overall, a more minimal, somewhat conservative look relative to the upgrade.
Just watched the Top Gear and JWW reviews... have to say it looks so much better in this spec, looks absolutely gorgeous in this shade of silver and the blacked out grille is a lovely finishing touch.. exactly how I would spec mines apart from the colour of the interior.. this thing is breathtaking!
I haven't been this early to a Shmee150 video in a few years. Looks like embargo just lifted too. I suppose with Aston Martin keeping the "V" names the Vanquish makes sense. Can't wait to see one of these in person!
I saw this exact Vanquish at a special unveiling here in Los Angeles about a month ago. Same exact colors. Wheel color. Got to sit in it. Was great! Love AM cars. The most beautiful cars.
These videos honestly are very important for my personal mental health.. I’m 7 years out from being ran over and have many issues.. one being panic attacks.. as I was just starting to have some extreme anxiety that leads to my panic attacks and mild heart attacks… I come here and it can usually completely take it away. Many times, we never know how much of an amazing impact you can have with someone’s mental health just by sharing what you love. And in the way it’s done is key for me. I do have onset Alzheimer’s and will forget what helps me… and sometimes it’s like the phone knows and put shmee in my recommended’s, or the universe haha who knows😂, but I appreciate much more than many would think. Why did Aston forget to make beautiful cars in the late 2010's? That generation Vantage was the last good looking car they made. This looks like generic grand tourer, with a squished Ford Puma front, and Polestar 2 rear. V12 or not, their current cars just look bland at best. Bring back good looking Astons!

Amazing that the styling of the One-77 has still a huge influence 15 years later in it's current models.
