    How does it work?
    The "Detox & ReSET 7-Day Program with Gustavo" resembles a "reality TV show" with three daily broadcasts that feature what I eat, how I make it, and an open Q&A session to answer ALL your questions. We log in live for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for each and every day of the 7 days. There are a total of 23 sessions and all of them are recorded with replays available at any time to watch again and again.
    We enjoy healthy, unprocessed food for one week with a fun and innovative program that includes a veggie day, a fruit day, and a fasting day strategically placed during the 7 days (fasting day is optional). If you don't need to lose weight, it is OK! You will follow a modified plan.
    All meals are whole-food, plant-based, with no salt, sugar, flour, oil, and preferably no caffeine, and no alcohol for 7 days. There is some flexibility built into the program. Meal ideas contain 3 or 4 ingredients only and are easy to assemble, exceptionally delicious, and affordable.

    Especially the grease my husband uses while cooking, one good thing I don’t cook his meals, but I do clean up, try to use separate pans, he just doesn’t like my food, but has type 2 diabetes, but thin as a rail! Go figure, I’m the one eating plants, and need to lose 20 lbs. Gotta laugh at the irony! Wish me Luck Mr. G.

      U are just simply overeating! Have u tried intermittent fasting?
      Just skip breakfast or breakfast & lunch & eat dinner. I've lost weight doing this. U can fast on coffee, tea, water, sparkling water.

    This video has helped me so much I got caught in the mix of eating unlimited amount of sugar meaning table sugar, dates, bananas lots of dried fruits and upwards of 3000 calories a day no wonder I wasn’t losing no weight

    Hi Gustavo, I am a petite 56 year-old woman, I am now slim after more than 2 years on a SOS-free whole food vegan lifestyle. In two years I have never fallen off the wagon, eaten sweets/cake/flour, etc. or had any oil or sugar. I have not eaten out either. I have read Dr MacDougall's book and I'd like nothing better than to be able to eat all those whole grains, legumes, etc. But if I have more than ONE portion a day of either grains or legumes I do not lose weight or even put it back on, and quickly. I have another couple of lbs to lose and there's nothing else I can do except reduce my portions of potatoes (which I eat no more than twice a week), fruit and root veggies (beetroot, carrots, parsnips). I eat fruit for breakfast, a big salad and my starch of the day at lunchtime and a big soup for dinner, I do moderate exercise. I have been trying to lose the last couple of lbs for over a year!

      Hello. If you eat UNprocessed you will lose weight. Overeating is very rare when you eat foods that range from 100-600 calories per pound. That’s what a WHOLE food plant based diet based on starches does. Many people miss this one crucial point and don’t lose weight. I think you will lose those pounds in my 7-day detox and reset program where we learn how to use water and fiber for satiety and weight loss.       Do weights and HIIT training. You may also need to increase your calories back to what it should be for your weight and height for at least a month or calorie cycle where you eat the potato starch for the week and then increase your calories on the weekend.

    For me it's sugary foods. Ate half bag of stewed prunes on toast & raisins & have gained 3 lbs.
    I do eat a lot of fruit & have trouble losing the last 10-15 lbs.
    Dr. McDougall was right, only 1-2 pieces of fruit a day!
