In this video I show how I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled a Montblanc 244 G. This antique fountain pen had apparently been used a lot. The barrel had become transparent due to frequent use, as the lacquer was almost completely worn away. The cork no longer sealed, causing ink to leak into the back of the barrel. The beautiful KEF nib was badly bent, so that writing was no longer possible.
I have recorded most of the steps and hope you enjoy watching.
The video is for entertainment purposes only and is not a tutorial on how to repair Montblanc fountain pens. I assume no liability should damage occur due to imitation.

Amazing restoration as always. Great editing.
What I would like to see is how to unscrew the cork seal.

How do you reveal the golden text?

I use "Markal Lacquer-Stik" to refill the engravings. I found this on eBay. They are available in different colors.
