I recently broke the so-called "section" of my W. Germany 144. Like you show here, it had resin threads and broke clean across just above the threads. Would you advise replacing with section that uses brass threads? Are they even interchangeable?

How were you able to just pluck the nib and feed out from the section? Mine is stuck in tight. Any tips?
