I went and got my olaplex treatment today. I do have colored blond hair.. When I came in for my treatment they told me they only use number 2 olaplex and they use number 1 when u color hair and number 1 can only be placed in with a toner. Is this true or was I lied too?
+kitik1989 number one CAN be used diluted with water, its a bond multiplier and the number 2 is a bond perfector. they just used less of the number one in color or toner, sounds like they didnt want to use more than they had to.
I just did this on my hair a few days ago and I can safely say this stuff is a miracle worker. I was wondering though, how often do you guys recommend doing the treatment? Is there any risk in doing it too often?
Olaplex is suggested to remain on ten minutes minimally, and the longer the better! :) with damaged hair we suggest allowing it to process for 10-30 minutes minimally.
I'm not sure about the entire bottles. I only bought the N3 since I wasn't dying my hair. I literally just used it about 1 hr ago and I washed it of after having it on my hair for an hour. Even though I can't tell really well atm since it's wet I can already see my split ends don't look as visible anymore - like they've sort of disappear. Granted nothing is gonna work like magic but it's a great start!! I got the home bottle for $29ish.
I have my license and purchased though the Olaplex website also. I ordered it from my friend who is selling her salon and sold all her products on Ebay. I wouldn't trust ordering this "liquid gold" from someone I didn't know. And would not advise using it without experience. But that is just me.

You can never over Olaplex your hair!

Bad idea. Sorry to tell you that. And part 1 only works with part 2. You need to buy from a professional provider birth part 1 and part 2.

There is no maximum time. It does stop working once it dries out. :)
