Those drums have an outstanding sound- as good as anything I've heard. Credit to you guys for capturing the sound so well.

I'm thinking to get a yamaha stage custom
I've been playing for 4-5 years and I want to know if I should get something better or stick with it

Hey mate, a stage custom with quality too and bottom heads all around is a great kit and will go a long way for you.

How close are these in sound, to the original English Premiers…?

I have two 60's mahogany premiers, two signia and the BDC are more modern sounding mostly meaning not as warm/mellow. But I also have the premier modern classic mahogany/birch the Keith made with Premier and that's very special and my preferred of the four kits.

The Austin-Healey of the drum world.

You may need more than an Austin Healey for street cred, if you’re loading these into your car. Id match them with an a 2020 model Bugatti Atlanta.

Nicko McBrain actually left SONOR for british made classic PREMIER drums, then suddenly, on a video seen here on you tube,he is sitting behind a HUGE BRITISH drum COMPANY monster set-up.paiste cymbals of all sizes a nd colors everywhere-and the smile on his face is bigger than his new drumkit!....then he gets up, and beats the bloody hell mout of them, with a "where eagles dare", opening drum fill tutorial, fawkm yeah!......The drums shown here are so nice sounding, and beautiful, but here in west coast of U.S.A.-they fetch a hefty price tag,and i have only seen aluminum shelled snares for sale, which are utterly beyond what anyone could ever expect a 14inch beer can to sing like, perfect and dry, with a crack thatt scares .30-06rifles!

They sure are mate. Quality gear there, as great sounding as their build quality.
