  • In this video I show you how to do the splits with square hips. It is extremely important to keep your hips square in the split position in order to properly develop your flexibility. I recommend practicing your splits this way from now on! Do this stretching routine 4-5 times per week and watch your splits improve drastically.

    my whole life I've been doing over-splits and i was thinking why can't I get better and when i did this video i realized i cant do square hip splits (now i can) THANK YOU

    I've been doing small oversplits since years now... always wondering why I couldn't get better. I thought I would already square my splits but I was wrong. This routine only demonstrated that I actually can't do even one split. My upper tighs are in a lot of pain right now... I've been stretching everything like a maniac... but I totally negleted my upper tigh muscles.

    I knew how to do split but My back knee What's facing the site? And I wanted to face the ground and I did go exercise. It was really hard but an Doing it, thank you so much. This helped me so much.❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Great routine,great advice.
    Why do you mean by " Sit into the lunge"?

      Sometime my students use there muscles to hold themselves up instead of relaxing into the stretch. It’s hard to explain in words, but essentially you need to bring your hips toward the ground when doing a lunge position to get the right stretch.

      This is a video for square hip splits. So that means you will get the split with your hip even, not a split that’s done by turning your hip

    Is it a problem if there is molding on the floor?

      It should be fine! You just might need some padding for your knee/leg.
