We men are lucky. I love Paul Stuarts. I have two suits that I bought in 1992 and I can still wear them because basic conservative men;s styles change little over time. True the sticker price, like a Bentley, will shock you but keep your body in shape and you will have saved money in the long run.

I honestly don't know why in English we write "maitre d'"...? My first language is French and if we translate it, it goes as "master of...". In French d' is used as "of". Can somebody please explain it? I'm honestly curious and I've been seeing this everywhere.

RealDream112 I believe it was originally “maitre d’hotel” and over time Americans or other English speakers shortened it to maitre d. So I suppose “maitre d” on its own could be considered a “loan word” in the English language. It’s origin is in the French language but over time it’s integrated into the English language and become a little different from the original. :)
