Great stuff ---!!
Damn Eric is gorgeous. Why the dancing girls? I only wanna see Eric and the band 😮
I could have done without all the dancers myself. No disrespect for they were very good and understanding that Go-Go dancing or the like was the thing during this period of the 60s. However, the director and/or set designer should've had the Animals elevated a lot higher so you could see them - especially Eric, whom they had on the lowest platform. I mean people wanted/want to see The Animals; don't think they came for a dancing show.
This was from a tv show like Hulabaloo where the dancers were a big deal back then. Go go dancing was a huge craze when it hit in 1964/65. TV show wanted high ratings that’s why millions of Americans watched it. When this showed aired most of the TV audience never heard of the Animals but everyone knew about and wanted to see go go dancing. Believe me I lived it.
Is that Mick Shrimpton on drums?
ToroCatCougar no it’s John Steel
