FUEL Series 30 Min POSTERIOR CHAIN Circuits Workout | Day 8

- 2 circuits! First circuit aimed towards the glutes and hamstrings, second circuit the back!
This workout will involve hinging during both circuits at points so please take it SLOW!
For single arm bent over rows, you can place non working side hand on opposite knee, lean on a bench or place knee also on a bench if more comfortable for you!
Push ups can be performed on push up bars / hands elevated on a chair!
During RDLs, lower to approximately the knees to feel tension on the hamstrings whilst keeping dumbbells close to the body. You can lower that bit more of you feel confident, upper back not rounding and you are able to maintain form.
Remember every single person will person a movement slightly different, particularly when they have gained the basics of the movement and are able to then manipulate foot stance (toes more in or out), depth (also accounting for variations of weight), holding of weight (dumbbells more infront or on shoulders), grip (a solid grip but relaxing the fingers slightly), and natural tempo they may gravitate towards if no specific tempo is called for. These are my real workouts and I hope to continue to share exactly how I perform the movements so I would say always perform to a rep how feels comfortable for you, particularly the depth and foot stance!
The timer will be on for a majority of the workout 60 se seconds of work with 20 seconds rest inbetween each exercise!
The only deviation from this is the Pullover movement which is 90 seconds in total each time it appears!
We have 2 circuits to work through!
We complete the first circuit, focusing on the hamstrings and glutes, for 2 rounds. We then also complete 2 rounds of the next circuit which focuses on the back!
The dumbbell I am using for the Sumo Deadlifts and Hip Thrusts is 1 x 30kg. For everything else I use 2 x 15kg each!

I have never felt stronger after 2 years of inactivity since performing your programs. Please don’t give in. Definitely, when our mind tells us not able to perform, and we accomplished it anyway, we should pat our shoulders for the achievement. Like some said, nothing comes easy with Caroline workouts, and we did it, we feel like a conqueror, definitely. Enjoy your day because u r amazing too.

Good morning, Matthew. Yes,just reading the description box I immediatelly knew we are in for a treat. What a fantastic posterior chain workout. The first circuit was just soo good, I enjoyed it so much I was kind of wanting to do another round. Squat walks were burning and sumos to rdls as well - but like Caroline's always says, If you don't make it challenging by going deeper, by pulling knees out a little bit more,you won't feel it. The back circuit was hard, loved rotational rows and the finisher was 🔥. Lots of pressure on lower back as well!
I did the add-on and my glutes called an ambulance. One of my all time favourites glute finishers.

I confirm it was really pretty exhausting but time went surprisingly very fast today ! Finisher came and I thought :"Oh that's very quick!" ha ha !!

Hi Catherine, circuit format makes the workout pass pretty quick. Squat walks are a killer ❤️🔥 I like the switch to back only half way through the workout as it diverts the focus from our lower body. Have a wonderful rest day tomorrow 😊

I've been working out with Caroline for over a year now, and I've been lurking this entire time. I finally decided to comment today, after finishing this (brilliant) workout - thank you, Caroline, from the bottom of my heart. Working out with you has brought me nothing but joy. Before COVID hit, I was an avid gym-goer, but I have long since canceled my membership because I have never been more consistent - or had more fun - working out than I do now (and I've never been stronger or looked better, either!)
The icing on the cake is this supportive, wonderful community. The RUclips comments section can be a scary (and downright depressing) place, but not on Caroline's videos! My shoulders and triceps are just beyond sore after that tough session! I can't even tell you Caroline as how many times I questioned my existence during that workout lol!
Also I'm even more hungry these days and have gained a bit of weight and some muscle and I'm glowing and living my best life!!!
Now off to some posterior chain work .. gosh I'm loving fuel so much❤️❤️❤️

Not sure Caroline if you ever read my comment but Love love love love this format of workout(for people like me who suffer arthritis/disc generative/plantar fasciitis, nerve impingement/vertigo, was warned not to to do any heavy lifting or workout from physio, but love how u make me stronger to make my normal daily routine easier everyday) ,Caroline. Can't imagine life without your workouts, i even fear to imagine: will u still be there for us in 10 or 20 years time? Can't find anyone as good as u to train every inch of my body/muscle, for free? Never been to gym or have a trainer in my life, and would say u r the best 'guru' of all combined. Can't thank you enough.
Sivia, you sound incredible! I had a number of trainers training me one on one for a duration of 3 years and spent another 3 years in group bootcamp classes before Covid. Still Caroline surpassed all my previous experience. Enjoy this journey and keep this up 🙌🏼

So nice to do posterior chain again! DOING THIS WITH 30 KG & 15 KG THIS WAS BRUTAL, ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL. If Caroline only know those flashing moments when one cannot go on anymore, looks at the screen, and she´s looking right back at you like "damn this is hard". Haha Epic moments. BRUTAL. I LOVED IT. Did the add on too, don´t plan on using my legs much tomorrow.

Fuel is definitely another kick my butt program! Had to go a bit lighter today - so sore from the whole week and looking forward to a rest day! I can honestly say, i love your programs Caroline - I don't train for aesthetic reasons anymore but more to move my body, keep healthy, mentally and physically and your programs since first lockdown have brought me so much love for training in different styles and not the stock standard training! I still look forward to training along side you every day!! Thank you as I know you must get so many different messages of what people want in a work out! The beauty with you, is there are so many free ones available to suit whatever style of work out you are after! Keep doing what you are doing! We all appreciate you so so much!!! Used 15kg each for back and 20kg for thrusts - i just have the weakest right glute so focusing on that right now.

This series is basically the most effective home workout series I've tried since the beginning of the pandemic. I keep waking up each day feeling much better rested, sore, AND my body already looks stronger after such a short amount of time. Gonna stick with this series, stay the course on my nutrition and ignore the scale for a bit as I work on fitting into all the dresses I have lined up for weddings this season 😅🫶🏽

Done ✔️. Fantastic Sesh! Glutes and Hammies were on 🔥. Back worked hard. Arms were struggling a bit during rows. Again..time flew with this one. No add-on today as I'm going for a Swim after to beat the heat.😆

Well done Trish. My arms struggled too but that was because we worked so hard yesterday but carried on. Loved the variety of both sections. Love the slow intensity of these and found this easier than yesterday. Was feeling sore starting but this loosened me up. Used 15x2, 30kg for thrusts & 20 kg for sumo. Add on done too✅ love the glute activation one. Enjoy the swim and send over some heat to us here in Ireland. I had a fire lighting the other night😱😱

I am overweight, kept on pushing, sweating 😓. Caroline your smile keeps me going. Even when I want to quit, I dread that I will miss the feeling I get when the finisher beat play as well as final stretches. My weight feels lighter. I’m getting stronger

I cannot wait to do this in a little bit. Love Love Love RDL/s and for some reason - I truly love Pullovers. I am not positive what they are working, but I feel it in my shoulders, upper back, chest and abs!!!

Just awesome, when I first started working out I dread doing the work outs, being honest, cuss I was so sore next day I barely could walk! But now is not the same! I look forward to my workout! I tend to wonder what going to be and what I’ll be working out that day! Sore like a surprise ! I’m loving it! Result are starting to be more evident! Thank you soo much!! 🎈❤️

This session flew by! I felt the second round of pullovers hard and those rotational rows are sneaky, I went a little bit lower with my back, to really only work my back muscles and those burned. Now for an add-on and after that a good run! Thank you Caroline! ❤️🔥

Yesterday was intense, it’s a great follow up plan after the Iron series and really showing me the differences & similarities with time & weights compared to heavy and reps etc etc. I’ll have a look at the add on you mentioned tomorrow after cycling. Loved this one!. Yes, circuits are my favorite and I love RDL and Sumo squats/ deadlifts. This had just the right amount of hip thrust-- enough to feel them, but a great balance of other things. Squat walks -- yes! This felt great and was fun.

50 minutes well spent😅 I had to pause a few times to allow my body to process what was happening, but we pushed quite hard in weight and form today so I'm quite happy with the improvements in movements I'm seeing.

Yesterday was the hardest one so far for me, as press ups still trying to get better at, as I keep doing and loosing fat become easier, love the look of this one today, alot of my fav exercises can't wait 💪
