I have noticed a huge change in my body with iron. I just love this program!!
I am going through it for the first time. I have not dropped tons of pounds, but my body looks different. My clothes fit more loosely and the fitted stuff looks better. I am so happy.
Do you do a full cardio workout on top of these work outs or do you just do these each day? I love these but just do not have the time to do two complete workouts in a day with my long work days.
It’s the way Caroline smiles when it hurts that makes me so excited to do this workout… I yearn to feel that awesomely intense burn, to fight through it as hard as I possibly can! 💪🏼🔥😍

Done with 12.5kg and 8kg dumbbells. That hammer curl hold was a killer… my happy thought was of the beautiful Warrior Queen fighting through the pain along with me! ❤️
I did the cardio add-on afterwards; not too tough, and it felt really good to get my heart pumping! 😅

Small wins: For the first time since July, when I started with Caroline, I matched her weights the entire way through! Wohoo! Great work out, thanks as always :)
👊🏼 yessssss Scandi!! Love it!! And if you are able to use those weights with perfect form, no doubt you could curl maybe 9kg or even 10s! I am able to perform good curls with 10 but due to the format, holds, shorter rest and sheer volume of biceps today compacted, often it’s better to not go as heavy as possible. And I’m so glad I did!! 8kg was soooooo tough on those curls! Brilliant to read Scandi and no doubt you will have so many more progressions to come!!👊🏼🤩

"Maybe think of something nice right now!" This tip was priceless....thinking of ice cream really helped me to hold on! But I also used 5kg :D; I had to drop the weight as I hurt my right wrist when I did the curls with 7.5kg. This was really tough and I loved it very much! Thank you, Caroline! Same here I was thinking of the beach! I used my 17.5 pound weights but dropped to 15 pound weight only once
Oh my! Same here I could only manage with a pair of 12-lb throughout the curls… and despite the agony holding, I laughed out loud seeing the “Maybe think of something nice” tip 😂. I’m sure I lost a few more calories due to the laughs through the laboured breathing 🤣
That was my FAVORITE TIP too!!! I just kept laughing cuz it was so funny! Love these workouts Caroline!!
Oh wow, that's such amazing stength! Is this class ok for men too? I have always been very weak and unconfident and really struggle very much. My mom told that these lessons will help me build very thick strong arms and great confidence! I did this lesson with my mom. It was really hard for me and I did not even use any weights at all! I stopped around 24 minute mark as my arms just gave u. My mom did the full lesson with dumbbells of 15 and 17.5 lbs.
@@rupinjeremiah9589 Hi, thank you for your comment! Yes, all Caroline's workouts are ok for men too! She has a lot of series from which you can try, but I suggest to start with the beginner series so you familiarise yourself with the way she structures her workouts and of course the exercises. Also you can try using lighter weights and progress towards heavier in time. Once you get used to, you'll feel better, get stronger and you'll enjoy the workouts together with your mom :). Your mom is strong and you'll be too if you give it your best and are consistent. Good luck and have fun working out!
Thank you Caroline, I’m rehabbing from an ACL surgery from last year and this is so dang rewarding 🎉so hard and so rewarding, I always get a little choked up at the end of every workout, like an emotional release, I’m so proud of all of you reading this! Keep going, you’re worth it ❤🎉
Found this workout to be the hardest one so far in this series. Those side planks and triceps push-ups are very challenging. Keep at it 💪🏼

I'm doing this series for the 3rd time and this is still the one that's hardest for me--specifically that abs section that starts at 11:00 🥵 Maybe that means I need to focus more on abs than I have been 😆

I just finished this workout and I must say that this has been extremely challenging for me but I'm glad that I was able to pull through.
I have never hated and loved the planks so much at the same time.
What seemed impossible at the beginning of this programme now seems feasible.
I don't know how to thank you Caroline. You are the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time.

Ooh, this might be my favorite of the Iron Series. I love working the biceps and triceps. And it was broken up with abs in between to give those arms some rest. I loved the format of this and she planned the exercises so perfectly: once you finish the 45 seconds, you go right into another 45 seconds of a *slightly* less intense version to really fatigue your muscles. Now onto the cardio add-on to have a little fun 😉

As working mother of three these workouts are not only convenient but also precise. They work out my body and target my muscles in a short but efficient time. Although I do not feel as though my body has changed I am sure that it has. I see myself everyday so I do not see the difference. All I have to say is… “WOW”. I’m trying to get back on track and these workouts amazing. They are easy to follow… I’m on the roof of my building in Downtown Los Angeles, since I don’t have dumbbells, I’m improvise with bands. She is motivating and I refer my friends to her workout. I discovered Caroline Girvan about 6 weeks ago, and already feel remarkably stronger from her workouts (having never lifted weights other than 3-5 lb dumbbells). I've been doing her kettlebell workouts but needed to change it up, so I borrowed my husband's dumbbells and WOW I'm sore in a good way. I really liked this arms abs and core workout!
I just love the way CG closes her eyes when its getting tough - mind over muscle in action!

I had a late night and lots of bottles of wine so exercises with hangover is tough🙄🙄 did do cardio add on and would normally have loved it but today it made me feel like 🤮🤮 but got it done. Will redo again some day as it is a nice cardio one. Have a great day.

I took your advise about the add on. I was only going to do 15 minutes as time was tight, but I ended up carrying on 👍✅😁. So thank you for laying down the gauntlet!! 👍😂.
Next week looks awesome once again, step ups on Monday and you can use your glute band again on Wednesday 🥴🔥👍.

Edit: All done and what a brilliant sesh it was! My fav were the plank variations! And the add on was on point! Challenging but not anything too crazy..! Loved it and now hopping into a shower and then a nice lunch (it's almost 12 in India)

This was a great workout, my addition today will be football with my boy who’s probably about ready now to show me his skills! Super Fun Sesh!! 🤩 By the Slow Tricep pushup could barely lift myself. Abs part was ouch. And the Curls..oof. Arms were HOT. Embraced the Burn. Survived the Holds. Followed her tip..think Happy thoughts 😆. Also did the add-on 30min. Constant Cardio.

I love supersets, and if the Abs are also included, the whole thing is perfect.👏🏼 In the end my arms got heavier and heavier, but it was worth it. When I was about to give up, I thought to myself: Look at Caroline's arms, no p ain , no gain and then I kept going. 😊
Wow!! That was so much harder than I thought it would be. I keep thinking there will be a bit of an easier day but nope...haha! Love upper body tho and that was a great workout! Thanks Caroline!!

Thinking of something nice - honestly - i was thinking of not nice things about Caroline after third set of exercises!! Ha Ha! Caroline amazes me how she stays so calm and focused whilst I am cursing and flailing around as soon as I drop my dumbells! Did this a bit later in the day for me but still thoroughly enjoyed the burn! Used 11.5kg each and 8kg each
That's really incredibly strong! I recently started but could do this training with only half kg (1 lb) dumbbells and still could only manage to the 21 minutes mark 😔
Been waiting all week for this one! I know I'm going to love it!!! Yesterday I fancied a challenge so I went way back and did the 1000 squat challenge! Very proud that I managed to complete it! Hey so amazing you did that challenge. I also did 1000 squat challenge in the time between Epic Endgame and Iron series. Damnn I couldn't walk for 2-3 days straight like those were bodyweight but really challenging. 😮
