I also did not think I would like this show after the debut at the park, but I loved what it turned into! I really enjoyed their quality of sound as well. Very cool show concept that was different than anyone else!
Justin, on Phantom’s shoes from what I can make out it says “Suta”. I’ll back you up in saying that PR definitely had a great sense of balance and sound this year. I thoroughly enjoyed this show. With the trombones (or with any other non standard instrument) I don’t mind if they’re used as long as they’re used well.
13:45 phantom actually doesnt. I was one of the contras in this show and they mic us all up to project the tuba sound rather than the synths. While i dont like mics generally i think this is the best solution in the modern activity.
It was... unfortuantely the videos were being suppressed by the RUclips algorythym bots because the channel name had a word ("die") in it that the bots didn't like. There is a reson the word "unalive" has become a thing.
So, how does one write the drill in key areas? Sopranos "undulate provocatively clockwise for 2 bars, followed by the tubas squat and grind, counterclockwise? How can the movements annotated on the drill notes? There are so many subtle things occuring, that it's taken several times watching and I haven't seen it all.
I think the Hornlines were louder when they used to play on G horns… JMHO. They are definitely doing some technically Incredible work… but they weren’t really connecting with the audience emotionally. That’s what is missing from Drumcorps today. It said SUTA on the bottom of that kid’s shoe… that is a Phantom thing… you can often hear them yelling that before and after a show. Thanks for sharing this video. -Nick Giardiello
I think around 76. Somewhere in that area. Which is close to what we marched if I remember. We had 68-72 I think. I could remember incorrectly but I think that is right.
It says SUTA on the bottom of their shoes! Thank you for the reaction, glad you took another read on the show and loved it!

love this show
Unbelievable! It makes me emotional at the end when the company front marches forward!
For the algorithm!
Gotta appease the RUclips gods I'm afraid.
Love the new logo! Befitting of the great channel.
Thanks. We tried many before this one.
I dig the new logo but the old intro was iconic man

My eyes can't catch how many horns the larger Corps are marching with, currently? Justin, any answer on this please?

@@MarchingArtsNetworkTV I thought that would be the appropriate number. Thank you!
I adore the new direction of the Phantom Regiment. The hangover lasted way too long
Phantom still has that phantom sound. Which after all these years is still amazing to me.
