Thank you Jenn! I have been a Phantom Phan since 1975 and 1976 when I marched with Guardsmen also from Illinois. My love for classical music started by watching and hearing Phantom Regiment. Guardsmen made finals I think four times. I have this 1995 performance on VHS tape ha. I went to see finals in 1991. There I bought the t shirt with the words "Phantom The Best Reason to March Drum Corps" I still have it! My Guardsmen folded many years ago, so I adopted Phantom as my favorite! Great comments, and to ALL who marched with Phantom... SUTA! 😊❤
Congrats! What a wonderful show to make wonderful memories with. The two thumb rolls y’all did are part of the Peggy Spins. I’ve put parts of the Peggy Spins in some of my shows and they fit perfectly, just like they did for you. But I wouldn’t have noticed that they were a part of it until you pointed it out, and I said, “Oh! That makes sense!” Love listening to you reliving your show.
Thank you for the narrative, from your perspective! Good to have someone narrate from somewhere other than my own position as a snare. Unlike then or now, we didn't move a lot. Lol! ZZZ
Love your channel. My last DCI season was Cadets ‘82. I loved ‘84 Freelancers, I’m born again ballad was awesome and Marching ‘82 I loved competing and watching The Bridgemen. What a Corps they were😎
Thanks Jenn ! I always wondered what it was like for the Guards. My big brother Andy is a Drummer & you know my Brother Cousin/ BroCo Justin. Smile 😊

What a great shirt! I've never seen that! Thanks for being a phan!
95 Was a great Show and year for DCI. It was my first year on tour and I enjoyed watching all the Open Class shows progress through the summer.

That would make sense being that we got it from Cadets. I've never actually done a Peggy spin to my knowledge!

I love being able to talk about drum corps from a guard perspective. It's not a perspective we hear from a lot.

Legit....I put on Freelancers 84 and it makes me dance in my living room. What is hip is still one of my all time favorite drum corps tunes!
Cesario bathing in chocolate is my DCI Halloween costume.
I'm going to need to see proof. 🤣🤣🤣
