Me three. Though I hope they make a permenant spot with Mei and Ming, since it stinks that this one was only around for a few weeks. If they make one in Disney World (since Disneyland is too far for me to afford), I'd love to meet the two! I'd also love to meet Mei's red panda counterpart as well!
I'm gonna see Turning Red in the theaters in a couple weeks! I'm real jealous I can't go as far as Disneyland to meet Ming and Mei. Then again, I hope they make this same meet and greet spot in China or Canada at Epcot. I'd so love to talk to them about ourselves! Edit: I saw Turning Red last night, and it wasn't even half bad! Now I feel even more pumped about meeting Mei and Ming someday! I am still expecting this same spot in Disney World, but I can't get my hopes too high. Edit 2: Also, if Disney can make a meet and greet with Mei and her mom, then they can also make one with Mei and her three besties (Miriam, Priya and Abby)! If they do make one, then each day, Mei would switch between meeting guests along her mom and along her besties. That would be cool!
@@jacobvanantwerp2001wait. For reals? I actually know!!! It’s not real obvious though, even after watching it several times. I don’t remember who at Disney exactly explained this, but it’s quite interesting. So, remember, four is an unlucky number. Originally, there were 4 members in the group, but then Aaron Z joined later, making the group now lucky, even though they didn’t change their name. If you recall, in Mei’s circle of friends, there are four in their group. Unlucky. Everything that goes on in the film is essentially unlucky. Each friend is also a fan of a specific 4 Town member. At the concert, they discover that Tyler is ALSO a 4 Townie, and is fond of Aaron Z, the fifth member! Even though Tyler was a complete jerk to the girls, they somehow bond over this moment and now he’s their friend, the fifth member of the group, and now they’re lucky! I kind of wished they explained this better in the film, because really, how else would you know about the origins of 4*Town? Must’ve been cut. But now that you know, it makes the film a lot better.
Well, Mei in her red panda form is present in Disney Shanghai, rendering her as a mascot. But here, she and her mom are face characters, and I'd say that's even better! Besides, cast members who play face characters get paid more than those who are mascots.
Wow!! I would give anything to meet Mei Mei and Ming Lee. 'Turning Red' is one of the finest movies I have ever seen. Seriously! I mean it. It is clearly a metaphor for when a young girl becomes a woman, but was done in such a way that my granddaughters don't know that. They love the movie as I do, I just can't until they learn its true meaning. My older daughter's older daughter should be pretty close to that age.

Lunar new year in Disney's California Adventure! Lunar new year never gets celebrated in Disney world sadly! It’s only in Disneyland! Lunar new year is when the Chinese have a big party and celebrate the new year! Sometimes they even hand out red envelopes with money inside!
I think they should have been a bit more prepared they looked just like the characters but they’re acting wasn’t that great if I was mei mei I would’ve been able to sing the whole song
The face characters for Mei and Ming look absolutely perfect!
Yeah, they're spot on!
😲
The fact that someone can do ming is amazing 😂
I absolutely love Turning Red, so, this would make me so happy to meet them! I love Mei-Mei, she's so happy and adorable ❤️❤️

I wish I were able to meet Mei and Ming there. But Disneyland is quite far from where I live... There could be a chance I'd be able to!
Wish they have a permanent spot!!!!!
Maybe in Pixar Pier

Yeah, in Pixar Pier in Disneyland California Adventure or the China or Canada Pavilion in Disney World's Epcot!

“Who are these hip hoppers? And why are they called 4*Town if there are five of them?”
That's a question I'll never figure out the answer to. I've been pondering that ever since I saw the movie on the big screen.
