I like how this channel doesn't make fun of the breakdowns, it goes into a more technical aspect and explains how they broke down and how the attractions work normally. Most channels don't even show the comparison and how it would normally work, but this one explains everything. also unrelated but the first fail leaves me laughing every time- the person screaming "OH MY GOD THERES A FAIL AHHHHHH"

9:12 it was actually confirmed that the animatronics are coming back in spring,, i recently visited and asked a cast member about it. they gave me a time span of when they’re supposedly come back. they told me not to tell anyone the specific date but they’re coming back VERY SOON!! i’m sure that’ll make the fellow caballero fans happy:) get hyped for their grand return!!

I'm quite sad to hear that all the birds are being repaired and it's been 3 months with no updates. The three caballeros are my most favorite animatronics in the park, and this is coming from a big Universal Studios fan. Hope they'll come back better than ever.
Yeah, it's still disappointing that their still getting repaird, and it's probably the base he said earlier and it must have a lot of mechanics in there, so that's probably the reason why they still haven't returned 😟😟

i believe they use a mix of animatronics and actors for this ride. the disney+ show “behind the attraction” explains this ride in detail. it’s really cool!
The navi animatronic is the most impressive animatronic I've ever seen. It was a bit unsettling when I was super close to her because she's so tall and looks so realistic!

I have gonna to that Small World ride in Disney Land but I did went to the one at Disney World 2 times and nowadays the song gets in my head and it pops up in my nightmares.
As you mention all the time, the Animatronics (especially the Ones created by Imagineers) are very fascinating and interesting parts of the ride-magic at Disney Parks. But as clever, modern and elaborate they may be, they seem to be very delicate due to time and (what i'm pretty sure of) air conditions. In these rides there are hundreds of lights, fog machines, screens, projectors, thousands of park visitors per day and complicated propulsion- / brake systems along with friction on tracks or water. Especially the rides with water (lots of water) seem to be the most vulnerable for malfuctioning animatronics. The air in there must be alternately warm and cold and also often pretty moist. When it comes to computers moist environment is not the best and temperature may have an adverse effect on the hydraulics-liquid (even if it's made to not be affected so much). I think when everything comes together it is it's doom. "...neither can live while the other survives"
I would hope so. For an animatronic to be 50 years old, there would be some malfunctioning parts to it. Things must be old in them for them to break down so much. For this, a new animatronic has to be rebuilt, and cannot be done with replaced parts

My family is a HUGE disney fan, and 2 or 3 years ago when I found this channel I've been watching it none stop cause of your humor and how we know the things about the parks when we go next year :D
The only "breakdown" i witnessed was in Disneyland on the Haunted Mansion --the best ride to get stuck in, I know. We were riding by the bride with an axe when the carts just immediately stopped. The animatronics and sounds still worked as normal. In retrospect, I think it was due to somebody hopping out of their cart. But let me tell you, sitting still next to a murderous bride ghost for what felt like 20 minutes was an experience I never asked for when traveling to California.

The Three Cabellero birds… I’m really glad that they refurbished them and kept a piece of Disney history intact. They add a lot of charm to the attraction even though they’re only at the end. Hopefully there’s only the occasional malfunction now. I really hope that Disney uses this form of refurbishment for other animatronics that need it. So do it for Carousel of Progress.

I was on a Ariel in Disney world when we passed the same scene as the animatronic in the video and her mouth was broken and stuck open. She looked up right when my sister pulled out her phone and it was a unsettling look. YOU COULD SEE THE MECHANICS IN THE MOUTH! It was so funny me and her laughed for almost The whole ride. The very far open eyes just made it all the more hilarious. Great video! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have only rode Rise of the Resistance once, but it triggered my love for Star Wars. From the Storm Troopers to Kylo Ren, every Star Wars character seemed awesome to me. I have no favorite, because they're all my favorite! And seeing an animatronic fail on that ride would be absolutely awesome. Better keep my phone handy on Disney rides!

Three ducks animatronics are back at Epcot in Disney world! Just went there a few days ago. Epcot is my fav park for sure

It would be interesting to do ultra realistic animatronics with AI. Allowing kids to actually interact with them and ask question etc.

The only "breakdown" i witnessed was in Disneyland on the Haunted Mansion --the best ride to get stuck in, I know. We were riding by the bride with an axe when the carts just immediately stopped. The animatronics and sounds still worked as normal. In retrospect, I think it was due to somebody hopping out of their cart. But let me tell you, sitting still next to a murderous bride ghost for what felt like 20 minutes was an experience I never asked for when traveling to California.

i love the kid when the bears at cbj (country bear jamboree) power down theyre like 'he died' and also the fact how when one of them falls, theyre like 'aS yOu can sEe, WERe alL JuSt oNe biG HapPy FamIlY' well, if they think malfunctioning and seeing your family fall is happy, they kinda got a point

I’m really glad that they refurbished them and kept a piece of Disney history intact. They add a lot of charm to the attraction even though they’re only at the end. Hopefully there’s only the occasional malfunction now. I really hope that Disney uses this form of refurbishment for other animatronics that need it.

I was on a Ariel in Disney world when we passed the same scene as the animatronic in the video and her mouth was broken and stuck open. She looked up right when my sister pulled out her phone and it was a unsettling look. YOU COULD SEE THE MECHANICS IN THE MOUTH! It was so funny me and her laughed for almost The whole ride. The very far open eyes just made it all the more hilarious. Great video! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have only rode Rise of the Resistance once, but it triggered my love for Star Wars. From the Storm Troopers to Kylo Ren, every Star Wars character seemed awesome to me. I have no favorite, because they're all my favorite! And seeing an animatronic fail on that ride would be absolutely awesome. Better keep my phone handy on Disney rides!
