Fantastic product! I was nervous at first, especially with the sanding portion, but this was easy to use and produced great results. Quick and easy! Love this stuff!
10 brother, just like always. .Armature detail guy, but for sure an enthusiast. Never used claybar before. First time was on my 2001 Tacoma TRD. Factory red, and neglected to say the least. To the point we were talking about repainting it. Thought I'd try to bring it back myself. Wash, clay, and butter. All my friends are jealous. I'm a fan for life. Actually asked to do a couple of neighbors cars. Thanks you guys
Just seen this product on Amazon and came to see reviews and bam new video 41mins old. Amazing. I’ve never had any problems with any chemical guys products and I’m hoping this products amazes aswell. Thx
Thanks for ur reply àbout headlights i purchased hydroslick when applying how long after applying do u wipe off on headlights thanks again georgie from Australia
Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo/water mix is what I used for the past 30 years. I'm sure there's some super science in the clay luber that will make it "ideal".. but i understand..it's a company selling their products. Respect the hustle
Hey! Check out Jet Seal to easily add protection against harsh elements. www.chemicalguys.com/jetseal-sealant/jetseal-sealant.html?gtmListValue=Internal%20Search
@@ChemicalGuys awesome, I always wonder which product to use and in what order, kinda hoping you could do an in depth video with regards to what products and how to layer them
Hey Alfonso! Clean the headlight before polishing, it isn't necessary to clean the vehicle since it is possible that polish or sanding residue may get the vehicle dirty again.
Hey Michael! Check out the Orange Hand Polishing Pad to restore your headlight lenses by hand. www.chemicalguys.com/hex-logic-orange-cutting-hand-pad/BUFX_201.html?gtmListValue=Internal%20Search

Happy detailing!
If I were to restore my headlights and complete it with a ceramic coating. What would be the best product to use?
When should we decide to do this process as opposed to just using the headlight restorer product?
10 for sure, wish you would have shown applying ceramic to them, but we get the point, well done
Thanks so much for tuning in!!

Glad to have you as part of the Chemical Guys family!!
Definitely a 10! Great job. I have everything I need to apply this except the hexagon pad to apply by hand.
Glad to have you as part of the Chemical Guys family!!
You and your products make detailing cars fun again.
Glad to have you as part of the Chemical Guys family!
When purchasing this, does it come with the sanding block, or is that separate?
Great job on headlights just seen ur you tube video how long does it last for before they go yellow again thanks georgie from Australia 🇦🇺
Hey Georgie! Thanks so much for tuning in. Apply HydroSlick to add protection that lasts up to 12 months.
What if my headlights are super clear just yellowed from the sun? I don't want to sand perfectly clear headlights. Great job by the way!
Hey! You can use Headlight Restorer without sanding to restore clarity.
Can your v32 v34 v36 products work too? Also do I need to sand the headlights or can I skip it and use the torq x?
Thanks for ur reply àbout headlights i purchased hydroslick when applying how long after applying do u wipe off on headlights thanks again georgie from Australia
Happy detailing!
What can we do for the tail lights? Can we do this method for the tail lights too?
Thank you for the videos ♥️
Absolutely!
10! Looks great, and the process seems doable. Thanks for he video!
Glad you enjoyed the video!!
If you're going to apply the headlight restorer polish by hand, do you need to still do crosshatch motion or circular motion?
Hey! Either motions are fine as long as you thoroughly diminish the polish.
Loving chemical guys products. the restoration, how long do I wait for a car wash?
Hey! Allow about three hours before washing the vehicle.
Looks great Joey, I'll get some of that.
Happy detailing!
nice job.what about add clear coat after the polishing
Great suggestion!
First time user. Can I use Hydro Slick instead of Jet Seal to finish off my headlights?
Absolutely!!
@@ChemicalGuys Thank you 👍 Great instructions by the way. My headlights look great!
Seeing as I have your bar and spray - guess it’s time to purchase the sanding pad and product
Enjoy your detailing products!!
I have a question Tony from the UK are you allowed to use a snow foam to clay bar the body work? Or is it best to just use the clay bar lubricant? 😃🤗
Hi Tony! For the best and safest clean, we recommend using Clay Luber.
Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo/water mix is what I used for the past 30 years. I'm sure there's some super science in the clay luber that will make it "ideal".. but i understand..it's a company selling their products. Respect the hustle
Great Video! This is my next project!!
Happy detailing!!
Nice job Joey
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Amazing can uou please just me the toroidal products a to z I woul treally appreciate it thank you amazing work ❤❤
Great suggestion!
Headlights looks good and rate this as a 10!!! Can you put Jet Seal on it for added protection
Absolutely! Apply Jet Seal to repel harsh UV rays.
What's your top recommendation of a sealant to use after restoring the headlight?
Store recommends Jet Seal from Chemical guys.

Nice... I need to try it on my grandmother's Altima
You'll love Headlight Restorer!
@@ChemicalGuys koolbeans... I'm glad I don't need a machine to use it.
Informative, definitely going to do it to my headlights
Happy detailing!
Hello, how long does the butter wet wax last? And how often should I re-apply?
Hey! Butter Wet Wax lasts several months and can be reapplied as often as desired.
@@ChemicalGuys Thanks. What about leather conditioner and UV Protectant?
Good job can you do a video on how to charge
Thanks so much for your feedback!
Hey Joey, once the headlights are done, in what order would you apply the following Jet seal hydro slick, and hydro charge?
Hi Adrian! Following the Chemical Guys Detailing Flowchart, start with HydroCharge followed by HydroSlick and then Jet Seal.
@@ChemicalGuys awesome, I always wonder which product to use and in what order, kinda hoping you could do an in depth video with regards to what products and how to layer them
@@ChemicalGuys I have been looking for the flow chart and have not been able to find it can you send me a copy of it please
Wow he's as done a great job 👏👏👏
🤩
Headlight looks great! Kinda makes the rest of the vehicle look really bad though.
Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to use one of the chem guys v series compounds instead of the headlight restorer with the polisher?
Hey Zack! Check out this video.
ruclips.net/video/tSm8C3I6_w4/видео.html
Does it have to be before or after a wash ?
Hey Alfonso! Clean the headlight before polishing, it isn't necessary to clean the vehicle since it is possible that polish or sanding residue may get the vehicle dirty again.
How would you recommend doing this without a machine?
Hey Michael! Check out the Orange Hand Polishing Pad to restore your headlight lenses by hand.

Omg.. Awesome job restoring the head lights. Top notch!!
Glad you liked it!
Looks awesome!!!
Gotta love Headlight Restorer!!
Good job, Joey! It's a 10 from me.
Glad you liked it!
Can this be done with V38 and a white or black pad?
Yes however it may not be aggressive enough to remove the oxidation. We would recommend using a more aggressive product like this one or even V34.
Looks awesome! 10🎉
Thanks so much for the awesome feedback!
