Listen to Stray Bullet from the River out takes . Another artist might call a song like that , the best song in his entire career . Bruce is a phenomenal composer and lyricist . Had the pleasure of meeting him several times , and having a drink with him . Good guy .

I am also delighted to have also become aware of the many other great outtake tracks that never made it to the originally released albums but which can now be listened to on youtube. I just wonder where these songs were found by you and all the others who posted them?

I can hear the Mexican inflections in the lead acoustic playing as well. ‘She Never Spoke Spanish To Me’ written by Butch Hancock spring to mind .. . Hope this cut makes it onto ‘Tracks 2’.

And then there are those whose names we known - Calvin Jones and the Thirteenth Apostle, The Ballad of Elmer the Pea. Hopefully with Darkness 30 and Tracks II - fingers crossed.

Stray Bullet is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I've ever heard. Can't believe it wasn't released.
