    I bought this one a month ago and I stuck upon it concerning using a cage, microphone, lexar pro ssd disk and a small powerbank…. The last two are a must because the iphone absorps a lot of space and you need some extra power! This is a only a nice startup - model 😢

      Yeah this one’s not designed for all the accessories, although you can easily attach a small SSD.

    Wow that thing is ginormous. Defeats the purpose of an iPhone for most cases? Just get a pocket 3 lol. Good review as always though! Found it engaging ❤

    The 300g payload matches the Insta360 Flow payload which is a smarter, smaller gimbal. But thanks for the review…

      Yeah that’s one gimbal I haven’t tried out. But looks interesting.

      I'm I really don't get that part, why they make a gimbal that only can support 300g, 😊 I order one and I will receive it tomorrow but I will return it because if this is not going to hold a lens I don't think it's worth it

    What tripod would you recommend for this gimbal?

    blackmagic 4k or iphone 15 for virtual production ?

    Why would someone get this instead of the Hohem M6? I am 100% sure it would have handled the large lens. I have put an amamorphic lens on it with no issue even with a mic attached through the usb port, which requires you to balance it further away from the arm. Of course, the Hohem has an AI tracker and light as well. It just seems like a better value. The Zhiyun costs $219 with the AI tracker and the Hohem is $209 with the ai tracker.

      Yeah Hohem was one of the first if not the first to have the hardware-based AI tracker. They make good gimbals, I think it just comes down to preference. Although the one you’re referring to has a better payload capacity of 400g, which is nicer.

    I like that case, what's the name of it?

      The one on the thumbnail is from Freewell. Main one in the video is from Sandmarc. Have a link for Sandmarc in the video description.

    If I were to use the iphone 15 pro or 16 pro on this gimbal while having a attached ssd enclosure case, where and how does one attach a ssd hard drive enclosure to this gimbal and will it affect it in any way?

    • @iphoneographers
      @iphoneographers  Месяц назад

      Depends on the SSD. There are some new ones like from Lexar that are very small and compact that just attach to the back of the phone that would add no weight. Kondor blue makes one too I think.
      The other type of systems would require a heavier duty gimbal.

    I'm guessing if I have the 5s already, I don't need this unless I need ai tracking features?

    • @iphoneographers
      @iphoneographers  3 месяца назад

      Yeah that’s mainly it. Basically the same gimbal as the 5 or 5S.

    I have the smooth 5s and I'm wondering if the payload is more? it seemed to only balance moment lenses on my 12 pro max but nothing more

    How about Android. Is it compatible with Samsung

      @iphoneographers  Месяц назад +1

      Yes, compatible with pretty much any phone brand.
