The best Guitar teacher one can ever have in the world. A true hidden diamond and a very clever guitarist! Roy was like a friend, teacher, father and grandfather based on the circumstances. Roy is the reason I still play guitar.
Roy was the best man I ever knew, 1 of my few friends. Can't believe he's gone. Great job, great interview, great questions. .Much of what he is saying here, he said to me during our many a lessons , bought my first amp at Larkins. Still hav my 1980 white Marshal that Roy found for me. He also told me the Johnny Winter story, days after it happened. R.I.P ROY, I WILL MISS YOU OLD FRIEND
Hi Karen. I took lessons from Roy for many years. I wish it was possible to archive and digitize all his lesson plans, charts, and recordings. So much knowledge and works of art that really should be public. -Pat Picarsic
