This tutorial helped me understand! I found this Woobles video after searching and viewing a dozen different crotchet Magic Circle videos from as many content creators. Each person had a slightly different way to make these circles in their videos, but I couldn't ever remember any one way, and I always twisted my stitches in the first chain I made around the circle without understanding my circle didn't pull closed because of my stich twisting in the chain stich I was making around the circle. Only this Woobles tutorial video made any mention reminding not to twist or to be mindful not to twist the chain (the single crochet of 6 stitches, don't twist, don't mix up by doing an over when you should be doing under. Keep the tail on the left. ... This is what I have made as reminder Ed for my own ways but only figured it out after the Woobles tutorial). For anyone who is starting out, keep watching tutorials. Over and over. Practice it one tutorial over and over. Crochet has to create new muscle memory. Not just one tutorial, not just one content creator, video clicked, it took watching several from different people, one or could be many videos later, but watch repeat until you don't have to think about it much and that helped me so I wish to let you know it's OK and may take a few repeating it for you to get it . Or maybe it doesn't, it's OK too. Sometimes different videos will help click for you. This Wobble video helped me, but I can't say it would have if it was the only magic circle tutorial I watched. It helped after I seen many and in the collection of knowledge from all, this one filled in the voids of my own learning.
    Woobles... THANK YOU FOR TUTORIALS!
Anyone struggling, hey if you want to keep going... you got this! You'll get it! ... Took me days. 😆
