    Please can you make a video showing how you do the first round of single crochets after the magic ring, I don't understand how to go under the stitches for this round.... I have your book I'm trying to make the racoon!

    Nice, clear lesson.
    I like to make the first stitch into the Magic Ring a little looser as I tend to make that one a bit tighter and sometimes hard to find. After years of making amigurumi I still count back from the current stitch to make sure I find that first stitch :)

      Great tip! I've been making amigurumi for over a decade now and still find that I count back just to make sure I have all my stitches!

    Please help, when ever i pull the tail the stitches come together and the circle never closes up please please help me

    • @AMenagerieofStitches
      @AMenagerieofStitches  7 месяцев назад +2

      Sometimes this happens! Just take the tail that you pull and weave it in the through the back of the stitches. I’ve found that this helps close the hole. 💖💖

    What yarn and brand would you recommend to start with?

    • @AMenagerieofStitches
      @AMenagerieofStitches  Год назад +2

      A medium weight level 4 yarn is what I recommend. Michaels Loops and Threads Impeccable is one of my favorites!! ❤️❤️

    It's Excellent but I m not able to do so when I start the second row it folds down into a pipe thingy and I am confused if I have to start from top loop or full loop😢

    Im stuck on 4:01 and don’t know how to turn it into 4:20

    • @AMenagerieofStitches
      @AMenagerieofStitches  11 месяцев назад +1

      4:05 will show you where to place the stitches of the next round. Depending on how many single crochets were put into your magic ring, you can count from your hook back to the very first single crochet made into the magic ring to know where you're round starts.

      @@AMenagerieofStitches thanks! I think I’m starting to get a hang of it :) i was struggling because my hook kept getting inside the extremely fuzzy yarn lol

      @AMenagerieofStitches  11 месяцев назад +2

      @@AverageAnimals Absolutely! Fuzzy yarn is definitely a bit trickier to use! 💕💕
