OMG!!! I just started crocheting three days ago, I was having a hard time because i couldn’t find any easy tutorials until I found this TREASURE! Mine came out a bit wonky, but Im really proud, absolutely recommended
This is the absolute prefect tutorial for any beginner! I started crocheting, but was about to give up until I tried following this tutorial! So proud of myself I was able to do it within an hour! ❤
I have been begging channels to put the pattern on the screen so we can learn to read it WHILE we're making it. I feel like just learning to read a pattern cold is so intimidating. Thank you so much! Great video and wonderful teaching technique! ❤🎉❤🎉
I've been searching tutorials for EXACTLY THIS beautifully explained easy to understand way that you have provided us. I love that you had the pattern in visual field at all times and types it out on the screen. I've been crocheting for 15 years just by trial and error making scarfs, afghans hats and mittens. Now I will be able to read patterns and make balls.
I have tried learning to crochet for months now. I have tried so many tutorials on making a crochet ball and none of them were step by step like yours. I'm so excited because you just taught me to not only make my very first ball but to also learn how to read patterns. Thank you so much. You are amazing.
It's funny that when I started I already did all of these. Except I only went back to learn how to do a proper amigurumi to see if I've been doing it wrong. But I did learn invisible decrease. So that's a big help! I'm glad I've been doing crocheting properly since I started with even properly knowing. I just experimented and see what worked.
I'm new to crochet and this was my first Amigurumi project. I had an absolute blast making this and I'm so excited to expand on what I learned and craft more things. Thank you so much for your detailed tutorial!!!! ❤️
I have been crocheting for a almost 2 weeks now so i had to replay the video over a few time to understand how to read the patterns but you made it super easy to understand so i got it in no time
This is the video I have been searching for!!!! I probably watched 30 tutorial videos before things FINALLY clicked with this one. Thanks for giving me the confidence to continue in my project!
I was so confused the first 10 times I watched this and kept messing up but then I realized I wasn’t supposed to increase them all. I’m a beginner and this helped me make my first amigurumi and understand patterns. Thank you so much!
This is hands down the best amigurumi tutorial for beginners! 🙌 It's so logical and easy to understand! I'm an absolute beginner and I managed to finish the ball in a couple of hours from the first try, without unweaving and I still can't believe how decent it turned out! 🤯I was literally on the verge of giving up amigurumi when I stumbled upon this tutorial and now I'm OBSESSED with crocheting! 😍 THANK YOU!
After 6 years of crocheting and 2 years of amigurumi I’ve found out I’ve been doing it wrong. I was crocheting all my amigurumis from the inside. So my needle was on the inside of the ball. Just found out yesterday that it’s supposed to be on the outside! Going to try to re-learn myself to crochet the “right” way. It will be tough but I’ll try!😅
Hey! Question, I’m having the same issue, do you have to put the ball inside out at some point? I noticed in the video she was going counter clockwise and then switched to clockwise without saying anything
This is how Ive been doing it too, I'm just learning but I noticed the inside looked so much cuter than the outside... but I don't understand how to change the way I'm doing it?? Coming from the magic circle it just seems like the way I'm doing it is the only way that makes sense? I need help!!
This was so helpful! At first, I looked at the video length and decided I was too impatient. So I quickly googled how to make the types of stitches and used a pattern on a website. Well, I decided to come back here and now I realized that I made a lot of mistakes on my ball. It still looks pretty good but I know why it's so lumpy now. Your video is so much more detailed than everything else I looked up. Thank you for making this tutorial and I can't wait to try to make another amigurumi ball done correctly!💜
Okay so I just started watching this video but LET ME SAY THIS: I’ve watched like five videos already and have been so confused where to place the tail while I’m doing the magic circle and you explained it. So many “beginner” tutorials act like you already know the basics. THANK YOU
Perfect step by step to follow and very detailed filming, so nice :)) Also thank you for not putting any loud filler music in between explanations, makes it a lot less stressful when I need to repeat and rewatch parts 💗 so soothing
thank you so so so much!!!! this was a fantastic tutorial. i really appreciate you counting out the stitches and following along each step in real time. i stuffed mine with cotton balls and could not love it more. thank you again!!
Have been crocheting for several years but am just starting my amigurumi journey. Found ur video by accident & so glad I did ❤️ it’s the best most informative I’ve seen
Been trying for years to learn how to crochet. This is by far the best tutorial I've come across. It'll live forever in my heart as my first crochet project I have ever completed. Thank you.
Thank you! This tutorial was so well-made. I haven't crocheted anything in years, but I want to make a doll for my friend, so practicing this was super helpful ❤
Started to learn crochet just 5 days ago and have made this ball. Through your clear instruction I can now also read a simple pattern. You have been incredibly generous here. Thank you 🙏
I love how accurate and detailed you are that any beginners like me will definitely understand and learn this in instant because of your very detailed tutorial video. I really appreciate it especially you type the step by step pattern on the description too.❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
I did my first amigurumi ball following your instructions in this tutorial. It turned out to be pretty good, so good that my cat appropriated it immediately after I finished. Thank you for this tutorial.
girl i cant thank you enough. i just finished my amigurumi ball and i feel really confident in reading written instructions now. it used to be latin to me, but with your help interpreting i understand now!
Very helpful tutorial. As a beginner, I have watched several videos on amigurumi and yours was the only one I was able to follow along with. I had to pause and rewatch several times, 😊 but created my first amigurumi.
Absolutely amazing!! I have been crocheting for one week now and I made this perfect ball!!! What an amazing tutorial!!!!!!! I watched your beginner videos first and then made this all in one morning. Thank you!!!!!!!! ❤😊
I swear, this is the easiest tutorial for the amigurumi ball I could ever find on RUclips. I found it a bit difficult at first, but turns out it's pretty simple. So if you just give it time and practice, I reckon you could make this. Don't give up. Thanks for making this video ❤❤
Thank you so much for this video! I have been crocheting for many years, but never really mastered much more than granny squares and scarves (anything straight was fine.) I’ve always wanted to try amigurumi and struggled with the basics every time. Your video with its very clear instructions and demonstrations allowed me to make my first amigurumi ball and I am so excited to try some little animals now! Thank you and keep up the great work!
I have been wanting to make amigarumi forever, but have been so intimidated by it- especially since seasoned crocheters don't want to explain the "basics" and just want to skip that part. So thank you for making patterns understandable, for going slowly and patiently, and helping me finally feel like I can do this!
This tutorial is amazing, thank you SO much! I’ve been crocheting for a few months and have been scared to transition into amigurumi, and this was the perfect first step to gain the confidence to start! I followed your instructions exactly and made a perfect little ball.
Thank you for sharing this video! I'm learning to make amigurumi for the first time and all the other videos I saw were either too basic or too advanced. This video is absolutely perfect!! Thank you so much 😊 and keep up the great work ❤️!
this ball is my first ever crochet "project"! Best tutorial i've seen especially for someone who just started learning a couple days ago! I learned so much already just by watching this 😮
A single stitch is one stitch, the little v shaped pattern on the top is a good indicator of what you’re looking for, when you increase you make multiple single stitches through one of your prior stitches to create more single stitches for you to work off of Sorry if this is a bad explanation, I’m pretty new myself and is what I’ve gathered from the video
Increasing is putting two (or more) stitches into the same stitch on the previous row. That's how in this pattern row one has 6 stitches but row two has 12 stitches. Because you put two single crochets into each stitch you made in the row before.
I completed this tutorial 4 days ago and i'm so glad to have finished it!! I was unable to crochet anything for about 2 weeks after spending hours on trying every day. But it finally clicked! I made some little ears and attached it to the ball & now it's a cute bear :) Thank you for this tutorial!!
i watched like three different tutorials and was about to give up until i found this one. thank you for having it all written out, shown well and gave verbal instructions. i finally made my first ball 🙏
I just decided to pick up an new hobby this week and landed on crocheting. This tutorial was SO incredibly helpful. I just finished along side this video and am so proud of my outcome! I’ve decided to turn this white ball into Boo from Mario. Do you have any tutorials on making triangles or shapes in general and sewing them into finished projects? Thank you, your videos are AMAZING!!
I have been crocheting for a while and take offline classes, and was still not confident with amigurumi. And this tutorial has helped to get over the fear and get started with amigurumi! Good going!
thank you so much!!! You do not know how much I appreciate the instructions written down in the introduction, I literally only watch tutorials because even though I know how to do a single crochet, increase, all that stuff, I forget the steps all the time. Thank you!!!
I somehow accidentally was working from inside the circle lol. It made the stitching a bit more difficult but it actually turned out fine in the end! Thank you for this tutorial, I look forward to practicing more. :)
I just started trying to get into amigurumi. I have watched numerous tutorials on RUclips and none of them have been amazing as yours. Your voice is very soothing and your instructions are easy to follow. The visual aids are a major plus as well. I kept having trouble figuring out my magic circle. After watching your tutorial I have been able to master it better. Thank you so much, I look forward to watching more of your videos
This is a great tutorials to learn Amigurumi. You have helped me so much. I'm in advanced crocheter but haven't done Amigurumi. The patterns are written differently. I agree staggering the stitches really does make a big difference. Thanks you for the help & your time😁💜New I'll be able to make my Cmas gifts.
I love how when you're showing something you put your hands directly over what you are doing without explaing how to do it, if it was easy to follow and actually showed what to do it might make it too easy for new people to the hobby. Please keep up the great work of keeping people from learning anything and just showing off how much you know.
bless your heart for making this video, it was incredibly easy to follow along and i think i did a pretty solid job! your channel is criminally underrated, tysmmm you angel
I'm an experienced crocheter! I mean, 60 years of baby layettes, afghans, hats, you name it. I watched this tutorial before starting my first Amigurumi project because I want my finished work to be perfect, and I believe there's always room for growth. Needless to say, I benefited from this tutorial and my first Amigurumi will be perfect. Thank you!
Ive been trying to get into crochet plush for nearly 2 years now, and this video finally made the pattern reading, and magic circle click for me. I made a lumpy ball that my cat seems fond of and was immediatley able to make a tiny penguin plush for my brother. Thank you for this, my future army of tiny plushies owes you one
I’m so happy because of this tutorial most of them yap to much don’t get on with the point and are to hard and they say “for beginners” but this is such a help no time wasting and super helpful
I've been crocheting for most of my life, (age 73) but couldn't make an amigurumi head! Following your video, I realized what my mistake was, and now I'm going to do this. Thanks soooooo much! ☺☺
I've watched a lot of videos and tutorials on how to make an amigurumi ball but I failed in making it, and now I'm on the point to finish my first amigurumi ball thanks to you. Thank you so much for the tutorial .
I can’t explain how much this video helped me! I’ve struggled for two days straight to understand how to do this and you made it so easy. Thank you so much!
I have had SO much trouble figuring out how to make a magic circle and just happened to click this video in curiosity! I’m so glad I hit this video and I thank you so much for this 💕keep up the good work!!
Aaah! I’m so glad I found this video! I’ve been attempting this for so long and this is the first time I came out of a tutorial with such amazing results! Thank you!
commenting again, 5 days later after coming across this video i've made 3 really adorable amigurumis all thanks to this one video, it helped me finally get my head around all the techniques and terms, so greatful
its really helpful that you are using a non-fuzzy yarn like most project tutorials, i usually can't identify where to insert the hook😂 the yarn choice here clearly shows how the stitch should look. Thanks!
im so proud of myself for actually going through and not giving up on myself! i made a white ball to turn into a bunny and it turned out great thanks to this incredibly easy to follow tutorial
Hi! To make a bigger ball, you'll have to work more increase rounds to make the initial circle bigger. Each increase round should be an additional 6 sts. You'll also have to work more side building rounds (the rounds where you just work one sc into each st) and play around with the shape that way. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much! Literally was about to give up on exploring crocheting as a hobby but this tutorial opened a whole new world for me. You're doing amazing things, Ma'am!
This is the best tutorial I have ever seen. every tutorial I watch goes way too fast and I can never do it right I tried this tutorial and I didn’t do it exactly right it got really hard and I was on the verge of tears but finally after doing it really closely I got it perfect! And now I can crochet almost anything don’t give up if you can’t do it the first time❤
Wow didn’t think I would learn this much: how to go into another row without a slip stitch, how to decrease, and how to read a pattern! Wow. Also yes I did already comment but this needed to be said too 😂
I've been learning crochet for my duke of Edinburgh award, and after talking to the teacher who I'm using for my reference (form tutor/geography teacher) she joked about making a globe. I held it in the back of my mind until I saw this video, which has spurred me to get going. I've now finished row 14 and I'm going to do all the continents now so I can access the inside of the sphere and tie them all on. I'm just saying all this as a thank you for an easy to follow and clear tutorial! It's really motivated me to keep going with crochet🧶

No filler, just easy to follow instructions with a kind, soothing voice. Perfect tutorial.
THANK YOU
Perfect step by step to follow and very detailed filming, so nice :))
Also thank you for not putting any loud filler music in between explanations, makes it a lot less stressful when I need to repeat and rewatch parts 💗 so soothing
I've been crocheting for about 48 years and knitting for over 10. I just subscribed! I am always open to learning more all the time. Thank you!
thank you so so so much!!!! this was a fantastic tutorial. i really appreciate you counting out the stitches and following along each step in real time. i stuffed mine with cotton balls and could not love it more. thank you again!!
Have been crocheting for several years but am just starting my amigurumi journey. Found ur video by accident & so glad I did ❤️ it’s the best most informative I’ve seen
For those of you who don't have a stitch marker, i used an earring. It worked very well!
I’ve just completed this tutorial and I made my first ball. It was really helpful and now I can read other patterns. Thank you for this film
I made a menstrual cup instead of a sphere-
😂
Lmao 🤣
Hahaha😂
I learned so much already just by watching this 😮
Am I the only one still lost 😭😭 I don’t understand the increasing and single stitching I am so confused!
Same
Lol
Same
A single stitch is one stitch, the little v shaped pattern on the top is a good indicator of what you’re looking for, when you increase you make multiple single stitches through one of your prior stitches to create more single stitches for you to work off of
Sorry if this is a bad explanation, I’m pretty new myself and is what I’ve gathered from the video
As a first-timer this was exactly what I needed! Love your style of instruction and the calming background music was perfect 🥰
i watched like three different tutorials and was about to give up until i found this one. thank you for having it all written out, shown well and gave verbal instructions. i finally made my first ball 🙏
Good going!
Thank you!! Just finished my very first amigurumi ball!!!! I love this so much. ❤️
thank you so much!!!
Me too!! Don’t know how I managed that hahahah
I just noticed I am doing that so I came to the comments to see if others said the same haha
Your comment made my day! Ahhh thank you so much :)
@@olliehollycrochet no problem, you deserve it!! 🥺💕
Thank you!
Thanks so much for helping me make my first crochet project! You explained everything so clearly.
This is for me in the future; You're about to start row 9, go to 14:34
Just made my first ball thank you for the tutorial I never knew how hard crocheting could be but you are the reason I completed the first step
I loved how you explain step by step and how much the video and your voice is clear 😍😍 thank you so much for this beautiful video
I’m so happy because of this tutorial most of them yap to much don’t get on with the point and are to hard and they say “for beginners” but this is such a help no time wasting and super helpful
Thank you so much for this! Just made it for the first time and my son loves it 😀! Please make more like bunnies and stuff 😊
I've been crocheting for most of my life, (age 73) but couldn't make an amigurumi head! Following your video, I realized what my mistake was, and now I'm going to do this. Thanks soooooo much! ☺☺
this is so well explained! best invisible decrease video here. thank you!!
I've watched a lot of videos and tutorials on how to make an amigurumi ball but I failed in making it, and now I'm on the point to finish my first amigurumi ball thanks to you. Thank you so much for the tutorial .
As a fast learner this was very helpful 💕 thank you for this tutorial
I can’t explain how much this video helped me! I’ve struggled for two days straight to understand how to do this and you made it so easy. Thank you so much!
Was halfway through this before I decided to make the half circle into a mushroom cap, this tutorial was very thorough and understandable!
Thank you!
I'm so glad this helped! :)
commenting again, 5 days later after coming across this video i've made 3 really adorable amigurumis all thanks to this one video, it helped me finally get my head around all the techniques and terms, so greatful
Perfectly explained thank you so much! Exactly the instructions I’ve been looking for!
its really helpful that you are using a non-fuzzy yarn like most project tutorials, i usually can't identify where to insert the hook😂 the yarn choice here clearly shows how the stitch should look. Thanks!
3:25 Starts the actual video
im so proud of myself for actually going through and not giving up on myself! i made a white ball to turn into a bunny and it turned out great thanks to this incredibly easy to follow tutorial
This is an amazing video! It's sooo helpful and super comprehensive. A true one-stop shop for all things amigurumi. :) Keep it up!!
I’m 12 years old and this brings me so much joy❤
Hello! I just finished my ball and I was wondering how I can make a bigger ball with a altered version of the pattern.
You're doing amazing things, Ma'am!
i made my first amigurumi ball following this video. Thank you so much!❤️
This is the best tutorial I have ever seen. every tutorial I watch goes way too fast and I can never do it right I tried this tutorial and I didn’t do it exactly right it got really hard and I was on the verge of tears but finally after doing it really closely I got it perfect!
I actually failed 10 times making a amigurumi and I finally made one thank you so much
