@Het vogelkanaal i know, i didn’t say anything, i just said he would feel the smoothness of the new wheel, plus the g27 is the same as the new g923, logitech uses a gear driven ffb system , a budget wheel for the same cost (t150 which is what i also have) is a hybrid system with gears and belts so it’s not as notchy, wasn’t having a go at the old wheel

are u using high ffb while racing? all the wheels gets hot after long race especially drifting because there is more resistance with the wheel my r5 gets hot after good drift sech but its normal thing i always give myself a rest & same for the wheel

i got a r5 bundle like 2 weeks ago, already assembled a wheel stand and replaced te wheel with the 12 inch mod. Now I think about getting the handbrake, brake performance kit, clutch and a shifter, what should i get first?
Just ordered my R5 bundle along w/ a clutch pedal and the brake kit. Im pumped! The last racing wheel I had was a Mad Catz one back on the N64 as a kid lol. Does anyone have reccomendations for shifter + handbrake? Might get the Moza gear unless I find something more affordable that can do the job fine.
it's good as a cheap beginner wheel, by cheap i mean if you can get it for less than 150€, even 150€ is very expansive for such an old 2009 wheel, 90€ to max. 120€ would be a "fair deal"otherwise i would highly recommend you to get a used t300rs gt(with 3 pedals) the price for a used t300rs gt wheel(in my country) is around 180-210€
Used to also have a g27 setup and upgraded to fanatec but kept the shifter. Its nice with all the extra buttons on the shifter and it will never break. I sometimes slam gears as hard as i can and it refuses to break🤣

I feel the full round 12" ES wheel mod would be better because the CS wheel may be too heavy for R5 and the mod is even lighter than the original.
