Nice video. I went ahead and bought it. Have using it all weekend. Really great upgrade. I like it very much because of these things: 1) A tad bigger than original will make it feel more real, but I am happy with 12", don't want 13". 2) Round, makes it much better for drifting. 3) I think it is great without the paddle extension because I often accidentaly touched these. Now they are more out of the way but still perfectly accessable if you have big hands like me.
Mine actually doesn't have the two small screw holes on the sides behind the wheel mod. It only has the six large hex screw holes on the front. At first I thought those small holes on the back were misaligned somehow and it was driving me crazy until I took it apart again and checked. The shifters now make the wheel vibrate when pressed because of that. It's actually not that big of a deal, but once noticed it can't be unnoticed and it gives the wheel a bit of a flimsier feeling than before. It's a bit distracting, but the overall driving experience is still better.
Hello, I have the moza R5, and when drifting I have ALOT of wobble in the wheel when reaching max steering, or when doing anything really, do you have any idea whats the issue
My wheel came without the threads on he back for the 2 small screws... not the end of the world as those long bolts are more than enough. Still poor quality check from moza
How do you get the camera to move like that? The only way I can see to my right in left while drifting in AC is to literally look left and right in VR, which is kind of annoying setting up my whole VR setup just for quick sessions.
I have done that before and you do loose alittle ffb because of weight but not a crazy amount. If you are looking to do a real wheel I would recommend the r9

@0spaze410 I just ordered an r5. Haven't sim raced in a while because I have a g920 with a big wheel and hated it. Hopefully the r5 will be much better seeing how it's double the cost
Someone on RUclips mentioned that a bigger wheel would not do so good as the R5 being 5.5NM? The 5.5NM torque would not be enough to spin a larger wheel?
I like Moza and I commended them for making good products for a reasonable price. But, that ES button plate is hideous!! I would get the CS wheel. Even, if I couldn't afford it. I would wait and save up. That ES button plate make that premium looking base. look cheap.

I think I need this mod. Bigger is also way more realistic. Even GT3 cars have 30cm diameter.

Did you change anything on the Pit House settings? Got the mod, but the FFB is noticeably worse with it. Increasing the gain alone isn't helping.

Do you feel any force feedback degradation with the new 12' wheel? People say the larger the wheel you go, usually the ffb will feel weaker
There was not that much noticeable of a difference the weight of the wheels are very similar.
5.5Nm *28cm/30.5cm= 5.05Nm. So 8% less force. When available I am gonna buy this mod, since the original feels a little too small sometimes...

It is neck effect in content manager. If it's enabled that is the result you can get in car
