Seeing some excellent things said about this base and its the one I'm leaning towards. Plus I'm seeing that with an adapter, it supports consoles aswel as pc.
I was just looking at this wheel and searched and here you are with it! Sick! Definitely will be upgrading from my G923 to the Moza here soon. It’s sick and cheaper with more torque than the Fanatec
@@flowsy5294 I haven't got it. I have many projects (400hp Miata, 2JZ S14, new gaming PC, Sim Stuff, and guns) and im not unhappy with the G923 for now so its not at the top of my list. But when I do upgrade it will most likely be the Moza, depending on the pedal and shifter situation
Hi, i'm having a problem with my R9. When letting go of the wheel on countersteer, its just instantly going to the opposite lock. So fast it even bounces on the soft lock and oscillates. From what i see, the rotation should be slower and controlled, but mine just goes from one lock to the other way too fast, i cant even catch it.
I can also do the quick release thing with my accuforce v2 DD I believe. I bought the QR that they sell just to be sure, but I'm pretty sure it's the same as any NRG quick release. This wheel looks really nice though at a good price for sure. I really like the looks of their GT style wheel too
Would this work for xbox though..as its the wheel for it that works eith the bases... But could just use a controller and a shifter for the buttons n gears n such
I've been drifting for around 2 weeks now and using a G920 which is all new to me. I'm so tempted to sell the g920 to get something that feels better. I understand it might not make me a better drifter BUT atleast it wont feel like I'm playing tug of war with my wheel just to lead into another drift.
Man I fought my G920 for so long. After a while, you learn throttle control, let the wheel do it’s thing, and catch it at the time right. I’m about to pull the trigger on the R9 though.
Same here just ordered mine with SRP pedals and CS Steering wheel and i've been using the G920 since 2019. hopefully it wont take long to get here and im sure it will be a big jump for the whole sim experience!!!
@@notoriousii7222 Nice! I use an aftermarket wheel so I skipped out on the CS but hopefully it's as big of a difference as it's made out to be for the both of us! I'll be testing it out on some VDC/WDT cars if you want to drive together once we both get them in!
@@guest21984 The base and wheel arrived 2 weeks after order but the pedals took a month to get here. But I can’t complain it’s better than expected. Hope you get yours soon and enjoy it 👍🏼
Are you going to be making a video on how your ownership of the r9 has been so far? I’m looking at getting one but haven’t found anything besides initial reviews
Can you attach the Moza quick release to other wheels too? Or is it just go Moza wheels? Like the actual branded Moza QR. As I've been looking at their website and I can't see pictures of the side where the bolts for the wheel would go.
Please try Euro or American Truck Sim on it with either 1800 or 1440 degrees of wheel rotation for the next video. I'd love to play them both with this wheel whenever I will get it... in the far future
just curious its not possible to run g29 stuff with the wheel right? Currently have a g29 giving me issues misalgining and want to upgrade but cant go all out
Hello. I am thinking of acquiring these products but I have doubts if the QR can present some type of slack similar to the fanatec. I made inquiries via mail through the Moza website but they have not answered me.
I just got myself an r( with a CS wheel. Ive been trying to get started with drifting... following a bunch of tutorials and stuff but I seem to have this weird fishtailing effect. The drift will start, car counter steers VIOLENTLY the other way, maxes out the steering, whips again the other way.. and keeps going till it sorta balances out. Im not sure if that's just my inability to drift, something to do with the settings on the base/assetto corsa or something wrong with the wheel/base! Was this something you faced when you were learning to drift? Any tips on how to deal with it? Any help would be much appreciated!
hey man could you link the nrg quick release please. im thinking of upgrading to the r9 base or potentially getting sponsored by moza if they finally reply (im a simdrifting tiktoker lol)
Man that looks nice. My wallet is already screaming and my wife is going to probably smack me if she finds out but I'm googling the price and availability after I hit send on my comment. Awesome video sir. Still patiently waiting for those street cars to drop. The vette is calling my name for sure hahahah. Looking forward to putting the old t300 up against your new masterpiece.
From the standpoint of using both, FFB is better with CSLDD. However, CSLDD has a WOBBLE problem with the shaft, and since it requires a podium hub to install third-party steering wheels, unnecessary expenditures are incurred in other wheel bases. I simply think that FFB is a bit better, which is ridiculous to accommodate these shortcomings
Best review of the R9 I´ve seen. Just from the fact that you mention that no Moza wheel is needed for the base to function. I´m getting one. Thx
