      Thanks! I can't wait for you to see it either! I would say hopefully soon, but as you can see, it takes forever to get stuff done. 🙃
      I'm glad I didn't end up committing frog homicide, I was about to feel SO guilty 😅

    Hello, I am a new Subscriber. I am excited to watch the progress on your Shed to home. I have been looking at a shed very much similar to the one you have. My daughter and son-in-law are planning on buying our house and 12 acre property that we have been living on for the past 15 years. My husband and I are knocking on 60s door and we are slowing down quite a bit. So they said they would buy this property and build us a small house on the property and they would take over the big house. Not sure if they plan on remotely this house or tearing down to rebuild. But I am anxious to see how roomy you're little house will be so I will know if that is the route I would like to go.
    Also I am so sorry about the loss of your canine Companion, I hope you find you a New canine companion soon.
    I am looking forward to following all of your progress.

      Thank you so much, and welcome to the channel!
      That's amazing. Mine is a 16x50 and it's plenty room for me, I'm actually surprised at how spacious it feels!

      @A Shed Instead Yes it does look very roomy. I just saw the one where your friend walked through and was talking about how large the bathroom and bedroom is. So that helps me lean more to purchasing that shed I've been having my eyes on

    Snake does not appear to be poisonous. He is long and skinny....He will kill the mousie's...The short heavy bodied snakes with triangular heads (Rattlesnake, Copperhead, Cottonmouth) are the ones you don't want around. Of course here in Texas we also have the Coral snake (red on yellow kill a fellow, red on black venom lack) You may already know this...Best wishes and Happy Memorial day!

    Did you ever think of placing the carport along the end of the house so when you are driving up the driveway you just pull in and then go straight ahead to pull out and then do a 180 at the end of the driveway. I’m sure I didn’t explain myself properly.

    • @a.shed.instead

      I gotcha ... you and Tyler think alike! 😊 thank you, I will give it a try!

    Can’t you put your carport on the backside of the shed near an entrance area.

      My back door is on that side, and the electric meter is close. There may be room to park in between, but I'm not sure. I'm going to try all the suggestions in my next video so we can try to figure this out. 😁 Thank you so much for your input! I appreciate it ❤️

    What are you going to do with all your stuff when you tape and sand your drywall?? It really causes alot of dust.

    • @a.shed.instead
      @a.shed.instead  Год назад

      Yes, it does. It's going to be a lot of shuffling stuff around and covering it as best we can. The downside of living in it while working on it. 😊

    Everything is looking so good. Perhaps you could extend the carport all the way across your driveway. If you pull beneath it straight, in line with the driveway, when you need to leave just pull forward and then you can turn around by backing in towards your house, like you had your car parked in the video. Just a thought, and it might give you room for a visitor to park also.
