I don't even listen to the radio in my car. I'm re-energized by silence at times. I cherish every decibel of it. Reading a room is my favorite pass time. It's interesting what people do when they don't know they are being watched.
I am an INFJ I expressed my opinion in a chatlog. Because someone disagreed with me he called me depraved. He was hoping I would go on the attack so he could say “do you see what she is like?” Instead, I just said then one of us is right and one is wrong. I am very comfortable with my position and let’s let the Lord decide this one. This was me giving him the silent treatment. Realizing that he was the one looking bad he said “have a good day”
Yeah, I've noticed that people in RUclips comments will be angry and defensive but at the end of their rant, they'll say "have a good day" and insert passive aggressive cute emojis. As if I can't tell by the tone of their message that they're being disingenuous.
Silence is not good for a relationship. Not even for introverts. Seriously, I don't see the point of being in a relationship if there is no communication.
@@annaandrea8320 There are plenty of ways to communicate without making noises. But you might have to stay quiet for a while to notice. Silence does not necessarily mean no communication.
Imagine this video being made in a silent, meditative, state. Without the repetitive background music loop. Could have made for a good illustration of the power of that silence.
Also, the "silence as revenge" part is not always done with that motivation. Many times it's simple defense against poor boundaries or outright abuse, along with self-preservation, that, by the one affected by the silence, can be experienced as revenge (though it might have little to nothing to do with them personally).
Lastly, years ago, my sister was watching a Biggest Loser episode with some Asian chick on it. If I remember correctly she was ashamed and didn't want her family to know what she was doing and afraid of her very stern father's reaction. Anyway, eventually she met with her family. She spoke, her mother spoke, her sister spoke. All of them were worried about his reaction, even after they aired everything out. Then, he said "Now, it's Daddy's turn to speak." and very succinctly said a few short phrases that laid all her fears to rest and boosted her ego right up, while making everyone feel good about the day. I'm just going to go ahead and assume he is an INFJ., since I was direly reminded of him by this video.
Don't be quiet in the comments though! Thanks for watching and subscribing! 😀

Patterns of behavior. Always gives a liar away.

Ok my NI doesn’t always allow me to fully be present at a work meeting
We are silent but not as silent as ISTPs.
What’s an ISTP?
Really? Maybe I should get one as a roommate.
Haha ❤❤❤❤
