In addition to a very detailed introduction to the topic at Star Citizen, there is a very good step-by-step guide to configuring Reshade in the different versions of Star Citizen (PU, PTU, EPTU and TECHPREVIEW). I've used Reshade for a while and love it. Takes away that milky white pushed gamma the standard settings give. One thing I would advise is the make combination keys to control it so you dont change any options by mistake.
People act like night vision settings do anything special. If an area is pitch black dark, then night vision will still be an empty blob. Gotta crank up in-game brightness. Even then it just shows details a little better from what you can already see from the client.
Based on this, I have played around with it, and it is cool looking. I can see where it's great for the cinematic effects. But since you don't have access to the depth buffer in online games, single- or multiplayer, you can't actually do true night vision.
these profiels of yours are pretty much identical to LC's Reshade profiles on Nexus mods - my problem is now i cant decide if HDR in game looks better than the reshade shader, I jsut find them a little too dark. Good video and well explained tho.
I love ReShade, it's a great way to make the game world really pop. Added to that the ability to add night vision (clearly something that could be added in game easily and is definitely missing) is a bonus. I will be installing this tonight for sure.

Depending on the ship manufacturer or helmet manufacturer, this would also be a feature that could be implemented differently 👌

I have deactivated the native HDR and am using the fake HDR via redshade, which I like a little better

Still works. Have you activated Vulkan in the game? Then you have to select Vulkan accordingly during the reshade installation. 🤞
