    Hi from PT!! Before torque the fork bolts... you need to torque the shaft... and upper stering base!! Aplly several pushes... on bike/man wheight... they need to rebound in order to become tightning all the bolts like ducati specs ... great job!!!

      Many thanks Manuel! I wouldn't say I'm living to have my own shop or become a motorcylce mechanic, I would say I've already peaked my Expecations and doing what I'm doing now with the bikes is satisfying enough! If I continue to chase one goal after the next after the next I'll never be satisfied with what I have already! I've already been blessed with more than I imiagined!

    The left lock stop on your lower triple clamp has broken off. Which means your left hand bar will hit the tank and trap your thumb when tight turning left. R&G make some lock stop protectors which will solve the problem and are cheap but worthwhile doing before you road test the bike. I've had to do the same on my 1299.👍

    • @Rellek
      @Rellek 2 года назад +1

      @@CJMediaOfficial The forks are clamped down by the lower and upper triple clamp. What you should do is slide both forks in, install the front wheel and then clamp them down. By doing so you can insure that the forks are not turned sideways in relation to each other.

    • @CJMediaOfficial
      @CJMediaOfficial  2 года назад

      @@CJMediaOfficial seriously!?!, Th tyre shops put them on like that?. If you think about what th grooves are there for, it'll make sense, and look at th back tyre, it's directional and on correctly. If you think that ur bolt upright and riding in th wet, th 2" or so strip in th centre of the tyre is what's in contact with the road and displacing the water, th grooves direct it away from th rest of th tyre when you're cornering, stops aquaplaning. Iv ridden bikes since I was 4 and now 47. Past my "direct access" and bought a brand new R6 2001 revised engine model( blue with black belly, gojus 😉). Iv done a fair bit of work on all my bikes so I know a few things. The tyres should have direction of rotation on th side. If I'm wrong then I'm going to forget everything iv ever learned and believe nothing ever again lol. 🤣👍

    Congratulations on your progress! 2 months to get the triple tree from Ukraine?! I was going to order a key/ignition/immobilizer from a Ukranian seller on eBay. But not if it's going to take 2 months!

      Well due to items having to go through customs over the border that's what took the longest! But I've had items come in sooner from Ukrain as well! Thanks Josef!! Good luck with yours man
