Thank you for sharing this information, very informative and inspiring. I’ve been blogging for 4 years and have yet to make any income. I started a RUclips channel last year in efforts to build brand awareness for my blog and I become monetized within that first year of starting. I am hoping to get a better handle with my blog so it can produce income as there as well.

Digital products are my favorite. I keep hearing about thrivecart - the one time price sounds good. Also - the ad income - sometimes as a reader it's annoying all the adds you find on a blog - so maybe less is better on that category. :) Coming from email list and happy to be here...:)

And ad income can be great if you have the traffic - but I prefer not to go overboard to preserve user experience on my site.

Great sharing, during your novice stage mainly which channel you follow that gave you the most valuable information
I had a couple of blog experts that I followed in different niches. Some of them now talk more about online business, so not sure they are helpful.
But the Genius Blogger's Toolkit that comes around once a year is usually a great resource to find teachers in blogging!

Highly recommend create your own product to sell - a printable, ebook, mini-course etc -. That made such a huge difference for me. And thank you so much!

Thanks a lot it really inspire me ….but am just wondering that you didn't made more money in Ads.....can we say that the ads on the blog on average it cannot generate more income than the Affiliates income.?
I had ads turned off for my blog until I qualified for a better paying ad network. But the opposite - I make a lot more if someone clicks on an affiliate link on average, then if they see/clicks on ads.
It really depends on your blog and strategy. High-traffic website with little affiliate links do usually rely on ads (think news websites, recipe blogs etc).
But I have high-quality traffic that converts better to selling affiliate products, as well as my own digital products.

Yup! I teach women in 15+ different niches and have a second blog myself (in the pet niche) myself.
But this blog is based on my blogging, marketing and social media skills (which I also got a degree for as well).
